James Woods is such a pile of trash. Utter trash. The Twitter era has allowed us to see just hoe stupid and prejudiced and evil many of entertainers are. Fuck James Woods. Fuck “conservative” hypocrites, liars, racists and killers.

Whenever an old white dude says that he is “disturbed” by the behavior/beliefs of others, the response should be, “yes, you are disturbed, now to the point you made...”

And Michael wants us to believe he hates trolls. LOL.

You are wrong. Knuck if you Buck is not a terrible rap song. It is gloriously the opposite. And that’s why you, like most people, love the song.

Missy Elliot’s last single, “I’m Better” is a much better song with a similar structure. Too bad it didn’t get pushed as much as it could have. It’s a great record while Bodak is just OK, but it has a vibe.

It’s Kodak’s flow from one song that he released in 2015. LOL, in rap years, that might as well be 10 years ago. :)

Also, No Flocking came out in 2015 which is like a decade ago in today’s rap world, lol.

Well yeah, I mean she took the flow from Kodak’s No Flocking for Bodak Yellow, hence the name. To my ears though (and I could be wrong) this is much more say 2012/13 than the present day, which would be stuff like Neon Guts, or I Get the Bag. I dunno.

The way she cites Hispanics and in particular Gays and Asians as model minorities against which to pitch “racist” black people in her FB rants is also VERY Seattle and Pacific Northwest. Tons of white trash up there who think exactly like her.

I don’t agree with your taste in rap but I absolutely agree that this vile subhuman deserves all the anger.

Of course this is nothing new but something about this video and story make me particularly sick. This bitch deserves to burn in hell. Please Allah, send this bitch to hell.

Paging all 40 year olds who only listen to “real hip hop” (lol) to come and complain about how they don’t get it.

What about this song is typical of today’s sound? If anything, it feels like a bit of a throwback and doesn’t fit in sonically with a lot of the popular rap being made right now.

This sentiment is a cop-out. Your elders thought the exact same thing about the hip hop and pop you listened to. There’s plenty of trash from the so-called Golden Age, and this argument has been made in perpetuity. It’s boring. There are some truly great producers and rappers out there, but you can’t seem to hear it.

The beat is nice on it’s own but would do better with an original rap over it. What works about Bodak Yellow is the space between the sparse, staccato beat and Cardi’s simple but emphatic delivery.

This story made me very happy. Bravo, Michael and Tina. Show those rich folks how capitalism works.

As a native Chicagoan, I’d agree. I actually know a couple mixed Polish-Black families. But yeah, the Chicago ‘lacks ain’t the most cultured people in the Chi.

It is, and THANKS for the kind words and the encouragement. It sounds trite, but sometimes little things like this are so helpful. All my best to you and yours.

Thank you for your kind words. I wish you a happy week!

Thanks for this article Aimée. I did not mean to make it about myself with my first comment, but losing people at this age seems to have affected many of us. My condolences for your losses. Have a great week.
