I was thinking that. The image of the son hanging there was just so… surreal that I was worried that the commercials were lying about the plot of the show. Turns out they were, but not in the way I thought. But just imagine if they killed the son like that. This would certainly be a different show.

Watching with my parents, I couldn't look at them for the entirety of that scene. Although my mom did mumble "that fucking piece of shit"

So glad I'm at the front of this one. There have been enough shows that I have need to catch up to once they got good (Breaking Bad, True Detective, Game of Thrones, etc.) but I think that this is the next great TV show, and being on the forefront is a good feeling. Looking forward to the future of this show.

364 days after her last episodes was her first time on the show. She didn't even wait a year after leaving the show

That's funny. I wasn't a big fan of the romantic triangle that wasn't between him, Oliver, and Laurel, and I really didn't need the father drama with Malcolm when it wasn't part of Malcolm's machiavellian plotting. I'm more looking forward to Thea and Malcolm than I ever was Tommy and Malcolm. Again, I don't hate

You're right. On paper she should be perfect, but she doesn't fit. The opposite could be said of Felicity (a dorky tech nerd who can't keep her mouth shut, played by an unknown actress in a TV-built role) but look at how she turned out.

I've heard people say that before, but I disagree. What do you like about him so much? I feel like he is too shoehorned into the story, and while he became important when he learned Oliver's secret, he was mostly filler before that. But Colin Donnell is a great actor for the role.

I don't get the extreme hate for Cassidy. I don't think she's done anything for the show and already has a better replacement as both the love interest AND Black Canary, but Cassidy has never done anything wrong. At this point, she is just filler, kind of like Tommy in the first season.

I really hated both the category and the answer for Final. I need more concrete and fact-based categories for final, and I saw on Twitter how many people were actually spoiled about the ending of the show. I would be okay if this was a category/answer for Jeopardy/DJ, but this was kind of out there.

If Barry is also Reverse Flash and everyone else is as well, doesn't that mean that everyone is also Flash?

Damn You, Nerd Police!!!

On your mark…
Get set…
GO!

I like how they switched the dynamic between the police and the hero up so quickly. It will really put a different spin on things.

Completely missed that until you pointed it out here. Good catch.

Berlanti recently said that he's keeping powers in The Flash and non-powered in Arrow, saying that characters will be traded between the two. The example he used was The Atom, considering Brandon Routh is playing a pre-Pym Particles shrinking ability character. Will keep everything feeling more realistic, I hope.

Glad I wasn't the only one thinking that. I cringed from the outset.

Alright, just checking. Thanks.

I'm hoping for the reverse-Arrow, where each episode shows a glimpse at the future, even if it is just a headline. Hints like that make everything seem much more intense and puts it on a deadline.

The only spoiler is that the show and Flash exist. Other than that, you're in the clear.

I'm slowly making my way through Arrow again, and I was looking at the comments of the first few episodes with Felicity, where half of the audience liked her and the other half (including Alistair) hated her. Something tells me those odds have really changed. Emily Bett Rickards is what keeps Arrow fun instead of too
