You sly dog.
You sly dog.
I got a bigger laugh about a guy in Taiwan who crashed while DWA (driving while autonomous) resulting in an emergency worker pulling a Huang out in public)
The true failure here was airbag not being deployed. It’s an old tech, how did Tesla not get that right.
I keep saying this, but people keep responding “Tesla doesn’t say that, where does Tesla say that???”
> when you see it’s not moving out of the lane with a fucking overturned truck
How will Tesla autopilot do any machine-learning if humans keep bailing it out? In fact, it has apparently already learned exactly that. If you’re going to use autopilot, you have to let it crash for the sake of machine learning - it’s in…
And give refunds to everyone?
If it can’t distinguish between a cardboard box and an overturned truck (or a truck across the road period) it should not exist.
I paid a lot of money for this autodriver thing. I’ll give it a couple more seconds and see.
I’d guess when you see it’s not moving out of the lane with a fucking overturned truck blocking it?
I’m not convinced the design encourages abuse so much as it simply puts too much faith in people not to abuse it.
So this is what the $7000 Autopilot option buys you? Cool.
When you go to the Tesla website and hit “order” and configure your vehicle, it gives you a $7K option for “Full Self-Driving Capability”.
And it's nice they don't call it something misleading like Autopilot.
Enough. The FTC needs to sue Tesla for false advertising over the term “Autopilot,” no matter how many disclaimers they put on paper.
Beta-testing this kind of technology on public roads should be illegal.
By design? WHY?!
This is just like Amazon’s new series Upload.
The airbag didn’t go off because even the car thought the driver is a moron. It just wanted to teach the driver a lesson. Nothing feels more refreshing than hitting your melon against the steering wheel.
that is a lie any adaptive cruise control system should pick up a over turned semi truck, please tesla is a great company building some sweet cars. BUT THEY DO MAKE MISTAKES, DESPITE WHAT YOU FANBOYS AND ELON SAY LOL
Yesterday I almost had a Model 3 drive into me (he missed only because I noticed and got out of the way) because the driver was looking at the screen instead of the road (trying to turn on autopilot?). He came up the ramp, and went directly across two lanes before realizing he wasn’t paying attention and swerving back…
