Now you get this shit...

Also Takata, who put claymores in millions of steering wheels.

There’s a Plymouth Fury that would like to have a word with you:

Lee Iacocca killed the Corvair. GM, having seen their technical tour de force first pigeonholed into the “sporty” niche by the conventionally engineered Falcon, and then blown away by the early success of the Falcon-based Mustang, already planned not to put any more money into the Corvair program even as they launched

No it was proved to be no more dangerous than other cars of the time . The first ones had a thing about tire pressures that some people didn’t have their tires inflated correctly . Ralph Nader didn’t kill the Corvair but he sure hurt their sales .

Ban assault pushbars.

As someone who lived through that, I'd say we were more worried about the rifle than the car itself.

The DC sniper didn’t use their vehicle as a weapon. They used a gun.

I owned a ‘99 RL and it was completely underwhelming in every conceivable metric.

Car?

worst Honda ever

It would take a lot more than a name change to make that turd palatable

ironically the most unreliable Honda ever

Im going to drive everyone batshit and say this was the Acura Legend,

Jalopnik apparently hires anyone. RWD Acura sedan? V8 in an Acura sedan (or any Honda/Acura)?

Can someone please show me a pic of a RWD, V-8 powered Acura Legend or RL? By my reckoning, there has never been such an animal. All Legends and RL’s have been FWD and V-6 powered. The 2nd gen Legend looked RWD and had a longitudinal V-6, but no V-8.

What an utterly irrelevant car it was.

Why can’t you just buy a standard E46 fuel tank or soemthing similar and retrofit an aftermarket pump?

I believe what you’re saying, but I’m having trouble understanding why the pump can’t be replaced. I own other vehicles where the pump is fully contained within the tank.

I’ve done a fuel tank on a Saturn SW2 once. Wasn’t fun, but it wasn’t and IBS or head gasket either. Honest days work for an honest reward.
