They ended up with a fat Cougar by 1974 anyway!

Wow that is one nice looking car. Those, if produced, would sell for a fortune today and possibly have changed American cars forever.

Has there ever been a cooler series than Group 7 in the mid-to-late 1960s?”

M Parallels in good condition are worth some money and very good looking. That said, they never should be chromed out.

The cruise industry is in catching the worst of chasing ever-shrinking marginal returns. They build a big ship, but if you don’t sell it out discount it for smaller margins. But then customers get accustomed to discounted prices so you’re ALWAYS discounting prices.
The answer to grow revenue and keep investors happy?

All inclusive resort >>>>> cruise.

My kid has been telling me she is learning all kinds of horrors that the cruise industry does to small local businesses in the ports of call. like the cruise linds own “local” businesses and actually push out small mom and pop stores and businesses. along with all other kinds of horrors. let them go bankrupt and sell

I irrationally love them on that car.  IMO the only cars that look good with chrome wheels are luxobarges like this, and the M parallels are near perfection in wheel form

Only cancelling SOME? These giant floating petri dishes full of miasmic food, recirculating air conditioning and no way to escape if a communicable disease breaks out? They’re only cancelling SOME of the biggest single-dose vector conveyances available?

Same. Sweet car and might be in the neighborhood of a nice price with a proper ad, engine photos, etc. But the ad extolling his lack of need selling the car with no other real description and the obvious pages of spam ... I don’t want to deal with this person.

I assume you then have those absolutely hideous, black wheels on your own vehicle? You know, the black wheels that every beat up old Camry has?

I hate chrome wheels on anything. Love M Parallels, though. Nothing a trip to the shop and a nice refinishing can’t solve.

NYC got a floating infirmary. It’s sitting there nearly empty. So they probably don’t need a bunch more that would require months of cleaning and retrofitting before being of any value.

The US Navy already has two hospital ships, the USNS Comfort and the USNS Mercy, ready for patients with hundreds of beds, 11 operating rooms, intensive care wards and pulmonary therapy wards with ventilators. New York has sent only 8 patients so far, LA has sent 20. There are also fully equipped hospitals at the

Live like kings? On a cruise ship?!?! Really? Are you feeling ok?

Artificial reefs.

Norwalk norovirus. Cruise ships frequently have break outs of it. I had it a few nope, holy shit 17 years ago and it was the worst (I don’t know how I contracted it). I’ve had the flu and food poisoning and they were all milk runs in comparison.

in 2017, 47 Carnival cruise ships emitted ten times more sulphor oxide in and around Europe than the total output from all 260 million passenger vehicles on the continent.

The EU cares so deeply about emissions, their regulations are poised to cull the 8 and 12 cylinder internal combustion engine and save the world.

Aight, so I’m in the very low risk category for the ‘rona and I have zero concerns about it. I can’t wait for the fall racing schedules to restart and I can get out into crowds, bars, etc. But you couldn’t pay me to get on one of these floating Petri dishes. If the ‘rona doesn’t get you, the super Salmonella or super

Counter-point: Blow up every single cruise ship in existence.
