I understand what you’re saying, but that’s not the question. The question is whether this car is worth it. $2K for a rust free 4WD is nice price all day!

Guess I found the nerve.
If both break the law, then what’s the difference?
I think rolling coal is dumb. That said, the point is no more to pollute more than the point of having a bonfire is to pollute more. Also, to all the sanctimonious types here, it's essentially the exact same thing as a burnout. Clouds look cool. Everyone here has made some smoke. The "my pollution is better than…
I hate to come down even 1% on the side of coal rollers, but let he who has never modified a vehicle cast the first stone here.
An important lesson for us all: if you want to do the crimes without punishment, keep doing the crimes until the cops give up.
I’ll buy one. The 1995 Ranger could use a buddy.
Hatch sizes/shapes, sloping rooflines, seats that don’t completely fold flat...I was pretty surprised at just how tight both a water heater, and a one piece toilet (separate trips) were in my wife’s Impreza. I had to leave the gate open for the water heater. Granted, that’s not a very big wagon, but most of the…
I think you're hitting the nail on the head with fleet. Look how many old Rangers are still in fleet duty. That being said, while it'll take a lot of sales from the Tacoma, it'll eat into the Transit Connect too.
There’s plenty of folks who need a bed but not necessarily 5000 lb towing capacity or even body on frame. People like gardeners, various light recreation people like surfers, or ranchers/farmers who just need to move a large volume of stuff without getting the inside of their vehicle messy.
My 98 ranger takes trash to the dump and takes home 4*8 sheet goods and dirt/gravel. It’s enough truck for my needs, even tows a little sail boat. I havent got a new one because they are all huge and over priced.
Ok. I’ll be that guy.
That’s a Falcon.
...HAM radio...
One delightful possibility is that since this is being made on the Focus platform, we could wind up with a RS version. Basically our own high performance UTE. The Aussies will be so jealous....
NYC roads are just wild Camry Ubers and rich-guy Escalades throttling and weaving at 50 mph through taxis going 20. You need the 6.6-liter to keep up, and to beat the pedestrians if you ever want to turn.
Benefit of the transit is it doesn’t look 25-years old. Benefit of this is 400 horsepower club.
I did I quick Autotrader search. Most around this condition and mileage seem to be around 18-20k. Found a few decent looking examples close to this price but seem to average 130k. NP ALL DAY!
A quick look at CarFax suggests this vehicle is priced right on the money to sell. So given what looks like excellent condition, nice price.
...these are found with just a bit more miles for like half the price.
