I think it is getting ridiculous that companies are being held liable for people being stupid

But it’s also generally a bad idea to simply ignore the government.  Musk is such an insufferable douche bag.  I can’t muster any sympathy.

When a CEO says his “Fully Self-Driving” cars are capable of hands-off navigation, the government tends to take a rather dim view of incidents that prove it cannot, especially those resulting in fatalities.

I went to Europe last year, and I can safely say that they are handling the immigration situation poorly. There were massive tent communities on the side of the highways in Paris, and more graffiti than I have ever seen in my life. I was legitimately shocked when I saw it.

“Aluminum” is the North American spelling standard.  That’s why we pronounce it Ah-loo-min-um.

Fuck him. He’s wrong. Soft G is stupid. He has been outvoted. That’s how language works. The first caveman able to speak might have pointed to a rock and said “unga!” but if the rest of his clan pointed to the rock and said “bunga!” guess what, rocks are bunga now. The easiest way to annoy someone of Czech heritage is

Wilhite is wrong if you take the t off the word gift it doesn't change how you pronounce the first 3 letters together.

how do you pronounce jpeg (the p is for “photographic” btw)?

It’s not often that the creator of something is wrong about his own creation.

GIF. “gift” without the “t”

My mind isn’t changing. It’s a hard G.

I’ve a friend who had a ‘67 8-door Aerobus and currently still has an ‘80 Marathon... fantastically overbuilt cars

...local Dodge/Jeep dealer has lime green, orange, purple...

Why? I hadnt seen the video. They wrote more information in the article than the video contained, plus a bit of their opinion. Do you expect this site to be 100% original content? Do you expect all news sites to be original content?

I don’t think Jalop is pro-dealer when it comes to Tesla. Most of what I read is that Tesla is just really shitty at basic customer service and car repair/maintenance. Tesla *could* offer better experience at sales offices and operate real full service repair shops. The issue is that they don’t.

I love my wife’s bright red VW

I’m pretty anti dealership overall, but I do worry about bypassing outlets that create actual jobs in actual municipalities vs giving money directly to a giant absentee corporation that sucks up all the profit and puts everyone else out of business a la Amazon.

The American method of car buying is to have hundreds of cars on the lot to choose from to take home RIGHT NOW.

I don’t get the simultaneous pro-dealer and anti-dealer sentiments

Clearly, Jalopnik is pro-dealer when it involves Tesla,”
