Check out estate sales. I have around $15,000 in today’s dollars of 95% Snap-on/5% SK that I paid around $1,000 in today’s dollars at estate sales over the past 40 years.
Quality like Snap-on and SK wrenches, sockets and ratchets (I bought some new, but most at estate sales) fit exactly and they don’t result wear or break. Crap (including Craftsman since 1995 or so) either is a poor fit, wears fast and/or breaks. I have some Snap-on wrenches that are over 50 yrs old and still like new.
Well they do create a nasty virus. As for high quality anything else, mature Americans know better.
This is the backup plan to the Wuhan Virus. If they can't kill you with the 'vid, they'll get you under your ride.
Ironically, I just saw a mint ‘73 with a 455 last Friday. White with blue stripes. Original wheels. Back when it was new I was driving a ‘57 Bel Air.

At 62, I’m still a hard driving gearhead. And I’m so thankful that my 59 yr old wife prefers a high powered convertible even today. She’s the Mom our son always thought was way younger than any of his soccer buddies’ moms, when she actually was around 10 yrs older than them.
