Hmm. In either case you should know whether you like the game pretty early on (end of the trial in CT, when you're leaving Onett for Twoson in Earthbound). Earthbound is quirkier, and a little more Nintendo hard. Both have great soundtracks and have some innovations that games TODAY can't seem to figure out.
