@Tsylord: Decide on one small/cheap present for yourself, and put the rest on your savings account. It'll be less painful that way. And of course, you'll have something nice to play with AND a good feeling about yourself AND some money in the bank. Perfect!

Hi everyone,

@virgilstar: My thoughts exactly! 5 hours must be the most tv I've ever watched in one day (on one rare occasion), and I'm not even the "I don't watch much tv"-type...

@edicius: Same here, I've been trying to get in there forever (or so it seems). I have a [what.cd] account, but no invites yet (it's crazy hard to keep your ratio up there!). You can google instructions on how to get in without an invite though, that's what I did...only for the die-hards, though, you have to do an

Oh, prudes of America (/the World, but I'm guessing America), you've come such a long way! You can really be proud of yourselves!

What the hell, only available in the US? The internet just got WORSE, that's not supposed to happen *belief in progress of technology shattered* :-(

Quit calling yourselves "mommies" like it's some kind of title that makes you superior to the rest of mankind , and maybe I'll reconsider! Mommy is what toddlers call their mothers, and nothing else (much less a profession!).

It's so weird to see her "out of character"...all I can think is "Betty! Where are your manners, you would NEVER do that" *can't distinguish fiction from reality*

@JohanPaladin: Sure, but that was just her voice/intonation. The actual CONTENT and CONSTRUCTION of her sentences made so much more sense than anything that came out of those other "like"-loving girls' mouths that it was pretty ridiculous when she got attacked for the way she spoke.

@marshmallory: I loved her from the start (and so I'm pretty surprised to see her win, most of the time they kick my favourites out around episode 3)...I never understood it when people said she was autistic or seemed dumb or something, like that Kara girl who accused her of sounding like an idiot when she (Nicole)

I sometimes order from amazon sites in the US or the UK, no problems there, but of course you have to pay almost as much in postage as for your actual purchases, and it would be kind of a waste to do so if your own country has an amazon/alternative. I practise my own foreign languages with news websites and blogs;

@Chinchillazilla: I agree. There's someone on the bus I take each morning who takes up two seats, and it's always very crowded and it IS a bit annoying to realise you have one extra less chance to get a seat when you see him in line in front of you, I can't deny that, but I'd never dream of letting that annoyance

I have tickets for an upcoming show of his, which is more or less my life's dream come true, so I hope he'll be able to make it (also because I'm worried about him, of course....) Please get well soon, Moz! #getwellsoon

@h4nn4h: Where's the edit button? I meant "they're just TOYS kids toss around", obviously #sis

@Justine: You're right, but I think I just don't care enough about Barbie to think it matters very much how well these dolls represent real people.

These seem to me to "represent" black women just as well as the white barbies represent white women, which is to say you may find a few women in the real world who look like that , but not many. Which probably doesn't really matter, anyway. The kids'll be alright, give them some credit, I'm sure most of their little

@dpok69: It doesn't do that at all for me, strange! Maybe it's different for everyone, or maybe it's because of the size of the apples I've been eating lately, they're almost as big as my head (without exaggeration), I wonder what kind they are or whether it's been an exceptionally good year for apple growth?

@KittyKittyKitty: Thanks! I was wondering if it was just alternative healthguru-newspeak (since I had really never heard it before), but it seems that it's more of a real word reclaimed by these gurus. That makes sense!
