yep, that too... it’s pretty brilliant all around, but I just never saw the letters until recently.
well, yeah, of course, but because it was a beer mug/ baseball mit, my mind wasn’t really looking for letters. The whalers’ logo isn’t something on its own that encompasses the whole graphic.
I haven’t read it for a while but I liked both and didn’t find my impression of one sullied my impression of the other. It’s hard to really give a knowledgeable overall impression of the TV series yet in comparison to the books because there’s just so much left for them to cover that could make or break it.
Exactly. The title of the piece should be “Shows I’m interested in this weekend” and it should appear on someone’s personal blog. “5 things you have to watch on TV this weekend” is definitely not accurate at all.
I mean, Netflix KNOWS this is a budget version of Mission Impossible, how could it not? This article seems to be written under the premise that it ignored that fact and was released as competition, but I strongly suspect that they’re just trying to cruise along in MI’s wake. Big spy movie comes out? People get into a…
to be fair, McDonalds was backing Chipotle for 8 years starting 25 years ago.
not really food, but food adjacent - I only recently noticed the “m” & “b” in the Milwaukee Brewers logo, a couple years ago:
I bet he gets his checks from MASN, lol... that place can’t get anything right, lol.
lol, a “bakers choice” dozen donuts at Doe’s is $46... almost $4/ea and you don’t even get to choose your flavors... I’ll tell ya man, Voodoo donuts is great and all, but they’ve ruined any option for a decent, economical donut in the Portland area.

The only thing I’ll miss are my very occasional Anchor Porters, I’ll get some whenever it’s on tap and maybe buy 2 6 packs every couple years... but I’ll miss them a lot more than many others who have come and gone.
Was it a theater chain? If so, which one?
Bet anyone who could develop AR subtitles for life in general would make a killing and be a godsend to the deaf community. Someone needs to get on that. a pair of specs that translate dialog that you’re face is pointing toward and focusing on.
Considering that basically everything he creates since the dark night trilogy is oscar bait, he’s probably just fine with you thinking he’s a failure.
First and foremost, it’s because it’s NOT a religion, it’s a lifestyle brand. It’s no different than Goop in its aims, (getting people to buy stupid, useless shit because they’re naive enough to believe the con being presented,) but it’s been at it longer, goes about it in a far more ruthless manner, and has…
or, you know, you could get a big hard drive, a peg-leg, and an eye-patch.
Tons of people get production credits for doing nothing in films if they have a long, involved history with a franchise. Creators of franchises and even directors & producers of new incarnations of franchises like Bay get credited for past work. Look how many production and writing credits George Lucas has for Star…
It was fun, I liked it, and I love this series above most other ST series, but it only served to prove to me that never watching an entire episode of Below Decks, to say nothing of a season, was probably a good call for me, personally. It was great to add in as a goofball to SNW’s straight-man, but more than 15…
