HOLY SHIT!
HOLY SHIT!
Hope you’ll write about this on ODeck to discuss there.
I have similar feelings as a typically exclusive Marvel fan. I’m actually kind of disturbed because I always had good reason not to buy DC and now I really think I want to. I have been reading Lois and Clark and enjoying that pre-New 52 family greatly.
He’s not the hardest science author, but he comes up with novel “magic” technology and he takes the time to give it limits and challenges. And his characters are excellent. If I can’t have OMW, I am content to just have Scalzi in space.
I hope they don’t merely allow Ultron to win again. I want something new to replace both Hank and Ultron and it would be cool if it was a new hero.
I’m always months and years behind the new releases (except Jim Butcher) but I’m listening to Seveneves now and it’s incredible. I have the Water Knife in the queue for next.
James Bond as a female with better fighting skills and great tech? It’s a no lose.
I have to think Peter is never going to hold on to this company; not as CEO and that’s Dan Slott’s plan. It’s interesting how many superhero alter egos are CEOs. We look at how many time Tony Stark has had to restart his business, how many times he’s failed or been hostilely usurped. He’s like the Trump of CEOs with…
I am avoiding everything this week.
I enjoyed Avatar in the theater and have no cared a lick about it since. I’ve never wondered where the next installment is.
100 episodes of infrared cameras, noises and exaggerated music. I watched once and have not missed anything by missing 99 episodes.
How about a dip in R’as al Ghul’s Lazarus Pool?
Why would we invite trouble from the Tri-Solarians?
They aren’t supposed to fall in love. Cloak has unrequited feelings for Dagger. Grrrrr
I liked Hyperion in Hickman’s Avengers. I hated his issue one of his solo comic. I want him to be an Eternal from another dimension. I don’t know why it’s so hard to make him interesting. Why the heck is driving a truck interesting. I read US1 in the early 80s and it sucked.
Ben uses Grecian formula to be a younger Batman. Easy peasy
Stronger than ever? Maybe. He’s never handed Brock his hat that easily before but he could have been caught surprised. I am sure we will see.
I read Eric Von Lustbader’s Nicholas Linnear Ninja books years ago. The discipline and dedication that is described in these books is rarely served well in comics. Most of the list above don’t deserve the credit of being called a ninja. Few human super heroes would be a match for a true ninja’s skills and knowledge.
It’s too bad Avengers went with an Ultimate version of Hawkeye.
This would explain the “you can’t unring the bell” comment better.
