A couple years ago when the Packers missed the playoffs for the first time in about a decade I turned to my best friend (a Bears fan) and I asked him for advice what to do during the playoffs, do I still watch the games? I had to reassure him that I wasn’t fucking with him— I legit was at a loss and had forgotten…
And then to top it off, it appears they completed the handoff BEFORE the hand off zone— in an attempt to make up for the initial hand off which occurred AFTER the hand off zone. It’s as if two wongs make a right!
I’d rather have a quick make up call such as this one that even a Yankee fan can agree “restored the game to its rightful state” as opposed to 5 minutes of reviewing the original mistake.
Cheerio Dust is one of my top 5 least favorite things in the world... I strain the Cheerios from the bottom of the bag before adding them to the bowl.
It takes some blind faith to think an eagle eyed Steve Winwood fan would catch that reference. Quite frankly, I don’t think this site gets enough traffic.
1000% Agree here, even if you get cheap tickets beers are getting exponentially more expensive and the food @ Miller Park keeps getting worse (and more expensive!). Airport-quality food has got to be the best description of ballpark food I’ve heard!!
My guess too! Gotta be the Brewers, and having worked for a couple months at the ballpark it cracked me up how cranky & upset employees got anytime a game went into extra innings.... for many it was just a job & they could care less about the team. It was sad.

Back when Bill Walton was calling NBA games I really did not enjoy watching those games. Turns out I really didn’t know him all that well or what he was all about.
100% agree on Eric Nehm’s Bucks coverage being top notch. Cool to hear people outside of Wisconsin are checking out his work. I actually started reading his stuff on The Athletic only after listening to his podcast Locked on Bucks for a few months.

Just taking a quick glance at the graphic before reading the article or comments, I can recognize 22 out of the 50 people and this made me laugh. Reminds me of the Dream Team Caricature T-shirt but in a horribly bad version that makes absolutely no sense at all.
