I disagree that everything needs to be funny or comedic to be good. That seems to be the general consensus among Gizmodo staff. THAT is irritating. Godzilla is about a monster destroying a city and the films always have a socio-political undertone. That’s the tone. It doesn’t need comedy to be a good movie.
