HE FLIPPED THE BITCH!!
HE FLIPPED THE BITCH!!
'SoTN' was on sale for XBone and that proved a wise pick up. Though I've avoided it ever since reaching Final Boss Richter; keep thinking I arrived way too early and the thought of having to back track some more is irritating enough for me to stop. Probably doing a disservice.
"But ponder, if you will, about wanting room service…"
Or a Tumblr film blogger's big break.
I for one would gladly be swept up in the teachings of The Great Keanu.
Remember seeing the picture at the top elsewhere but didn't know much about the film plot/tone wise. Sounds great; will try and track it down.
I've been reading 'American Psycho' by Bret Easton Ellis as well as trying to finish up Elvis Costello's memoir. Checked out 'Big Sur' by Jack Keuroac at my local library but put it away pretty early once I realized "Oh okay the next several chapters are going to further disclose how he walked through his later years…
Hey if it will actually benefit the finished film, all good! I still can't get over that stupid horn sound used in the trailer. Don't care if it was some obscure folley effect from the original or some other hoohah - shit's silly. Have seen that trailer twice - once at home, once at the cinema - and still burst out…
Too broke to buy the album. Can anyone offer me up a stream link if at all possible? (Wouldn't dare consider torrenting it. No - not at all. I am a respectable, law abiding citizen who downloads his music through legal means.)
Same. Well close to Vancouver. Anyway, I propose a wall to keep Dunham and any other irritating New Yorkers out.
Would seem so.
A friend's step-mom said to have seen them multiple times and that their fans are sketchy at best. Pantera & Mastodon fans are cool (Pantera folks were awesome to have in the pit, apparently.) but Slayer fans are worrisome.
There was a bizzare in-joke in my high school "It's not gay if you shout 'SLAYERRR.'" Meaning whenever you were caught in something even remotely homoerotic (e.g. wrestling or two dudes sharing a longing look) you'd call out the band's name really loud. Don't know how/why this started but it stuck for a while.
Will just say that going over to The SOs house one afternoon to find she had got me 'Reign in Blood' on vinyl was/is a highlight of our relationship. Because, while material gifts shouldn't win you points, fucking 180 gram Slayer does.
Actually just saw that one. Quite enjoyable. Thought the guy that played Welles was fantastic and I'm sucker for anything remotely stage-like, based on a play, or set in The Theater. Too poor for the real thing, see.
My FB music group had an Archers of Loaf thread a while back. This track was on here. Went from some indie band I only passingly knew of to one great fucking band!
GUS:
What was that about space?! Can't you see I'm trying to make the most of this, like, beautiful moment I've totally earned!
Agreed. Holy shit did I turn on the two leads (and by extension this show) whip quick. While not from the episode being reviewed, I can't get over Gus' writer's room meltdown. How he didn't anticipate that from the 'Wichita' writers shows just how much of a self aggrandizing shithead who is incapable of taking any…
Great, great track. Also fond of 'High-Fiving MF.'
I noticed he's a patron that brings his own drink napkin in Louis CK's new show 'Horrace & Pete.'
