No no no! @SterlingQ's mention of "Life is beautiful" just sent me off on a 10 min sobbing spree just thinking about it! Now you have to mention the "Jurassic Bark" episode...I just stopped crying! I sobbed so hard at that episode my husband had to turn it off to hug me. I can't even think about it without...damn.

Diddy's son graduated with a 3.75 GPA and great athletic skills. Sure his dad is rich, but the kid worked harder than I'm sure most of us did in high school. Good for him for earning something himself at an early age!

I'd probably react the way you did, then apologize for overreacting and come to some compromise of where it should be kept. In my opinion, a lockbox in a closet or something, but I'd compromise with him.

This is fucking awesome.

Yep. I totally agree wide fat assessment. This is what I see as a difference on a daily basis between my husband an I.

Oops I was off of when the lease was up. Sorry! If you're looking into a retirement or vacation rental have you thought of ala moana hotel? They sell condo units and rent the units for owners when they're not there. I don't think you'll make money but at least you might break even on a mortgage. Trump tower does

Yep, but if you are looking at the condos on Kahala Beach right next to the Kahala Resort and Waialae Country club, they're owned by Kamehameha trust and they're not selling the fee. A lot of people bought into those for 1.5-2 million about 10-15 years ago and are now trying to unload them before the leasehold comes

Just an FYI that condo is a leasehold property which means you own the condo but not the land. The reason those are so cheap is because the lease is up in a couple years, after which time the property goes back to the landowner for them to decide if they want to continue leasing the land or if they want to do

No don't go to Hawaii! Just moved away from there because we realized that with kids the cost is prohibitive. I grew up there and naively thought it would be doable - when push came to shove it wasn't.

my husband worked at a coffee shop when we met and now he's the breadwinner of our family. That was 11 years ago though when we met, and we were in a different place in our lives. But I say never toss out that cute barista over nothing!

I'm so damn horny but am almost 33 weeks pregnant with unconfirmed health insurance. My midwife told me to stay away from sex and orgasms until 35 weeks, since they can induce labor and I'm already dilated. This sucks. My husband is getting a treasure trove of blow jobs because that's the only sexual act I can do

This religion doesn't close you off from others but it - in my experience - tells the members that the only true believers are those in the Family, and that true family members need to be a part of them. My dad has threatened to divorce my mom multiple times because she won't convert. They also drink a tea and then

I know, right? We just watched it and i said "Damn he's sexy' and my husband said, "uh-huh."

We are poor. This sounds awesome right now. Husband and i are seriously considering it...

Is she Asian? It's run by an Asian lady from Hawaii.

Oh hey, can I ask y'all for good thoughts?

It's called the Spiritual Family, and while it technically has a good point behind it (as most religious things do) the brainwashing it has had on my father is immense. Which maybe it's not a cult then, and just another spiritual group that sucks.

We moved 2000 miles away to keep my father's BS from my sons, and my mothers BS from me. They both adore our son, but to the point where they are trying to recreate their "failings" as parents with him, which of course fails as parents to me.

You know, i worried about that for the daycare my son went to. Then when we visited it, it wasn't such a big deal when you were in the environment. I went from thinking it was ghetto to thinking it was wonderful.

I don't call my parenting style anything. It's called the "please let me not kill my child" style of parenting.
