@jkrell: I have 4 computers in use. On two of them, I have 3-5 virtualized systems. That is a lot of distinct FF master passwords to carry in my head. Yes, each has subtle variations, but between those and my Thunderbird password(s) and the disparate machine logins.. even with Xmarks syncing, my brain rapidly

@friendslikeJimRome: Similarly, I think, "I could make that pretty easily..." and lean away from it, but it's not a hard-and-fast rule. It's rare, however, that I'll order steak/chicken/plain pasta (as opposed to a home-made ravioli or other filled item) dishes.

If I'm not likely to be back again, soon, I only order appetizers. Greater chance of a winner, lowers the impact of the occasional snoozer, greater variety of flavors from which to choose.

@Adam Pash: Weave offers much hope but is still too unstable.

@moracity: Ditto. Too many apps open to max.

@BurkeMelanthus: ANY knife is forbidden, but only scissors with blades longer than 4" are banned.

@puhsitch: love Preview, but Skim's expanded feature set definitely wins my "Other..." vote.

@imajoebob: I teach the "pause and think" bit to people who overuse "y'know" and "like" and "ummmm" in their speech. It's astonishing how much smarter they sound when they start actually pausing instead of using those filler sounds while brain tries to catch up with mouth.

I'm insanely irritated by the damned grammar check bein' turned on by default (with no apparent way to disable it). As we might've noticed, I've a penchant for slangifyin' my text: I CAN write correctly, I CHOOSE not to. Last thing I need is my chat window littered with unnecessary green and red underlines, dammit!

I dunno... I TRIED Pathfinder but it just didn't move me. I do appreciate the Terminal hack.. The right-click "reveal in Finder" option is a big hit with me b/c I just can't remember where everything is for drilling down purposes; having the path always present will be helpful in improving that remembering.

Chekkit: The double quarter pounder with cheese STILL has less fat and sodium than most of the turkey sandwiches at Panera.

@RoxanneChrysaor: I dunno, everything I've ever read says the fish filet (one of my childhood faves) is about the WORST thing you can grab b/c the fish just sucks up all the oil it's fried in, offering a massive fat bomb that, like any sandwich from panera, people THINK is way more healthful than it really is.

@TysonCabaniss: I've not "used" several but I have played at length with several, including putting 3 side by side at Best Buy and running several ad hoc tests. I was able to immediately see the HP had the nicest screen, the Dell the nicest keyboard and the Asus the least compromise of the others in terms of

@ModemGod: I completely disagree with your initial premise.

This sounds great if I weren't so busy working I never SEE my desktop(s)...

@nwaasob: My father would sit through the credits with, I think, more focus than during the movie. As a "below the line" Hollywood guy (special effects, costume design), he was looking to see who'd done what work, if he knew anyone, etc. And, perhaps, a bit of nwaasob's take, as well. Many people take less money for

@Chezedog: Do you walk to school or take your lunch?
