What was really fascinating was that you could see Murphy, still completely in character, checking Strong’s figure out before he launched that ad-lib. Murphy’s ability to be fully committed to the sketch and still able to react to what he’s given in the moment is incredible.

Fantastic opening monologue. They filled the stage with comedic genius. Somewhere in heaven Richard Pryor smiles at the sight.

And this is exactly why the Trumpers will never back down... because Trump, his presidency, and the GOP at large are build on a foundation of avoiding accountability.

The only potential silver linings we can hope for at this point are either the pressure of the whole thing causes the president to have a fatal event—heart attack, stroke, whatever—or that he finally snaps and does something so egregious that even the GOP can’t hem and haw their way past it.

The only college educated people I personally know who voted for Drumpf have degrees in things like business, IT and law, where there tends to be a higher concentration of selfish, self-worshiping sociopaths whose primary concern is their “personal wealth management.”

Ditto with my mom. Thankfully the arguments ceased when I said “He’s the direct opposite of literally everything that you raised me to be.”

Yup, If someone had told me 6 years ago, my aunt would vote for someone like Trump, I’d have laughed in their faces. Now, I don't even recognize her anymore.

It feels stupid when realizing that this majority isn’t just the frothing seas of MAGA, but also the white people who seem to be otherwise…decent. A morning shift barista at your favorite neighborhood coffee shop. A co-worker you share silly memes and quiche recipes with. A small forward on your rec league basketball…
