I certainly hope they get Daisuke Tsuji for the starring role... not Scarlett Johansson... LOL

Which is weird. Solo wasn’t a bad movie, and I enjoyed the hell out of TLJ. Also, I’m not fully on board that WW is a great movie. It was alright, certainly the best of the joyless DC dreck. But it too suffered from the film-by-committee joylessness that plagues the DCEU.
But then, I’m not a neckbearded man-baby, so…
We got a lot of excellent cowboy movies that people still watch to this day along with a lot of forgettable ones no one watches anymore?
Civil War II was the second worst thing Marvel ever did to Carol Danvers. The absolutely worst thing they ever did to her was have the Avengers let a clearly brainwashed Carol walk off with her child/rapist/kidnapper in Avengers #200.
Well, just came out of the 11:30 3D screening at Disney Springs.
A Shane Black movie where Riggs & Murtaugh have flying robot suits and are played by Robert Downey Jr. and Don Cheadle? What kind of asshole wouldn’t be excited about that?
We can call this particular instance “cultural appropriation” without people getting upset over it, right?
Him!?! That guy!?!? He’s the father of Meghan, the looker? This is a joke, right?
I say this to make it known that there’s room for all of them. No need to merge them together.
I wouldn’t want them to be merged if it could be avoided. Shuri does a turn as Black Panther in the comics, and I think RiRi’s “normal girl” origin is a plus to having her. It would be cool to see RiRi studying under Shuri in Oakland though.
Aren’t his powers also based on his emotions? Even more relevant then
It wasn’t obvious. I appreciate that your glibness was not directed at the accounts described here and appreciate you saying so. But Jessica wasn’t the only one who reacted defensively. You know the internet is full of assholes and articles like this bring out the misogynists. You did not express yourself clearly…
It’s also been sorta retroactively lauded. Like, DC got him on the Deathstroke series recently, blew everyone away, and he’s being appreciated more than before
Fair enough. I guess I was thinking more comics and film than TV.
Whew you came with RECEIPTS 😳
That was one of her points.
Yes. I am saying that. I, too, have worked for very large companies, and while they had consumer dataout the wazoo, more than one (male) personexpressed frustration that the powers that be seemed to think “pink it and shrink it” sufficed for its female customers. I was also part of the first group of women to…
old and out-of-touch people at that level in a lot of companies speak at the demographic level. I have heard the following said by clients, with no hint of self-awareness:
The truly insidious part of this is that these unfounded stereotypes have a way of becoming self-fulfilling prophecies.
Black Museum was my favorite episode this season because of all the themes you brought to light here. And, even though the justice was incomplete, there was some satisfaction in the end.
