i don't think i've ever been this appalled at an AVC comment section.

i am frankly doubtful that you understand how to open a fridge door, but ok, pal.

also, not that i have to explain myself to a sentient poop that's somehow learned to type, but i'm an advocate for racial and trans causes, and both are incredibly important and personal to me.

hahah, i haven't been here in a while, and i forgot how much you suck.

boy, nothing says "i understand racial issues" like the phrase "fucking foreigner".

…and trans women are murdered by cis men (and police). what a bizarre and pointless non-sequitur.

as a straight(ish), cis male… when a trans person (or gay person, person of colour, etc. etc. etc.) says "X is hurtful", why can't everyone just say "oh, OK, sorry"?

the "free speech" crowd out in full support of silencing critics tonight

what you're doing is telling people who are hurt or offended by something to shut up.

oh, i'm sorry, the white male crybaby of the day has already been awarded for today. but maybe if tell this very story in a few hours and include the usual histrionics, you can win tomorrow's!

ahahah. watch out everyone — we have a real life californian here! for absolute real, i care less about your time in LA than britta's time in new york. also, i've been there too, and i've worked in the entertainment industry for most of my life. you know nothing. eat my ass.

where the fuck do you get off making comments like that about someone when you know nothing at all about her circumstances or body? that's so out of line to say about anyone, but especially when i literally just told you that i am also naturally skinny and have trouble putting on weight. (for your information, not

people's bodies are different. i remember that story because it resonates with my own — i also am naturally very skinny and had huge difficulty putting on weight when i wanted.

that's what she's said in interviews several times. i am fairly confident i remember it correctly. she was pretty stressed about it and was relieved joss didn't ask her to put it back on for the movie.

i'm not sure what you're saying — jewel staite was asked to GAIN weight to play kaylee — the way she tells it, she apparently had to force herself to down cheeseburgers and doughnuts. she was back down to her "normal" weight for serenity.

like everyone else, sorry it's ending this way but glad you see a path through the fog.

He's not a source, though. He's the story. CNN wouldn't be revealing a source if they said "we did some digging and here's the guy who created this shit". They're fully within their rights to reveal his identity without breaching journalistic ethics.

I agree with your point but I think Lois and Superman was a bad example to choose, because, yeah, I can totally see Lois bossily manhandling Supes around.

I thought I was the only one!

I honestly can't imagine how you think it would be either of those.
