Well it gets really gory and brutal. The narrative is fractured compared to BoB due to focusing on characters in different companies & platoons. Its less sentimental than BoB with no narration and baseball games, that's not to say there aren't a few corn moments(episode 3 is full of them. Its a character building

Sorry folks there should be paragraphs dividing that mess of rambling text. Wrote this on a cellphone but for some reason the paragraphs didnt show up

HBO really is like no other channel. They spend 100 million on BoB, 200 million on the Pacific. The first season of Rome is fantastic and also cost close to 100 million. They really take risks and have production values no other channel even comes close to. I blind bought BoB on Blu Ray and couldn't believe the scale

Bobby Bacala thinks we should respect the fact that the Parker Bros took the time to think this all out and is pissed when you take a game of skill and make it just about luck

How Pinky and the Brain has yet to be made into a live action film I will never know

100%

Get two birds stoned at once

Yeah you are definitely right about the "proh" in pronounce but I've yet to hear anyone not from Newfoundland or Nova Scotia say "aboot"

"Cory, Trevor, smokes lets go!" Its embarrassing but, as a joke, I would pronounce jalapeño just like Ricky does and somehow my brain started doing it automatically to the point where I don't even realize I'm doing it. To this day if I read jalapeño off a menu there's a 50% chance I pronounce the "J". Fucking TV

For any Americans reading this, do the ladies in the video above sound "Canadian" to you? I'm just curious. I'm Canadian but for the life of me I don't get how some Americans think we have funny accents. Those ladies sound like they could be from anywhere in America(other than Texas, New Orleans, Mississippi or the

Murray improv real? First of all the STORY is awesome. Forget about the comedy! The concept and execution are perfect. But Rick Moranis is hilarious, Ramis is hilarious "I collect spores, molds and fungus". Akroyd is genuinely great as the exposition delivery machine(plus his kid like enthusiasm really shines through

That's the joke…

Dark knight was finished filming when Heath died. It changed nothing but sequel plans

Exactly! It's the one thing I can't understand about pop culture. Usually, whether I agree or not, I can understand why a song/movie/TV show is liked or not liked. I may not agree but I can understand why people enjoy the Transformers movies. But GB2? Sure its not perfect(3rd act issues, over use of montage) but the

There's a typo in your headline. Its spelt a-w-e-s-o-m-e. Ghostbusters 2 is fucking awesome

If you don't count Best Drama, Lead Actor, Writing, Actress as major categories, sure. Season 3 wasnt nominated for much beyond technical awards. It was snubbed out of the acting awards(save for Bobby Cannavale) and the most important awards; Writing and Best Drama. All of those are Awards that the first two seasons

Winter has said he will not rewrite history when it comes to death. The story around the death may change but the death itself will align with what actually happened. But composite characters, like Nucky, who knows? Nucky Johnson is very different from Nucky Thompson

Anyone else feel atmosphere of an inevitable tragic end for all the character's who don't make it into the history books? Some say the show looses its suspense since, for example, we know Lanksy doesn't die in a hole in 1924. But that scene with Chalky in the car, pretending to sleep, holy shit. I could barely

No. You didn't. You're not going to watch a show because of the implied message? I'm sorry but if you've decided to take a moral stance HERE, after all these years, you are a fool. Not every point South Park makes is what trey and matt believe(example being that factoid in "butt out" that second hand smoke doesn't
