There are so many levels of irony here that I officially don’t understand any of it. Someone do a translation for a befuddled non-American?

This is what I do at parties.
I am sorry you didn’t enjoy the movie more. I really dug it.
Long answer: yes.
Something tells me Infinity War is not going to expand on a tertiary Thor character’s love life.
I’m not a comic book guy, but maybe you can list for us all of your hobbies so we can generalize the fuck out of your life.
I’d guess that sky high expectations, thanks to the involvement of Fincher and Spacey, led to a slightly underwhelming response early on, then a combination of people starting to accept it on its own terms and the show finding its feet led to an uptick. (Albeit, I dropped the show in season 2, having really enjoyed…
I remember it getting a lot of breathless hype in the first season because it was all about DC and the Beltway and many in the media loved writing about it because they could write about themselves. There were some who pointed out the show was ludicrous, but they were lost in the navel-gazing.
I saw it from the beginning, but not the UK version it was based upon. I really liked it from the get go, and it felt like “politics on steroids” was the concept—which worked, because it contrasted with the political scenario at the time.
November 9th will go down as one of the worst days in modern American history.
I’m sorry but The Room’s fight scenes were more entertaining
I think Tommy Wiseau was tied up as the fight coordinator for Iron Fist.
Out of your mind, I am enjoying it. Just sucks I can’t watch it on Friday. The next day, Inhumans with a bowl of cereal makes for great Saturday morning “cartoon.” I think of it as a more serious beetle borgs or power rangers.
he had an incredibly “wtf is this” face for the entire episode; i could never discern if it was just his face, an “i’ve caught on but don’t wanna say anything”, or an “i’ve caught on but they bribed me to go along with these shenanigans.”
Well to be fair, a lot of things done in Batman v Superman were the wrong choice, so I’m all for this retcon
I think that’s possible, but I also think it’s possible that the Good Place lets Janets go for free because they tend to improve things wherever they go and that fits in with the Good Place’s central mission.
It’s only supposed to run ~7 seasons. Based on the current timeline, with season 2 seeming to run up to 1963, I would guess that season 3 and 4 would cover the 70's and early 80's. So Helen, if she wanted it, would come in for the 90's and 00's.
Pluto not being a planet anymore. Fuck that shit.
Ehhhh there’s kind of a difference between forcing yourself to smile on your own and someone else pressuring you into it. I actually think it helps, personally.
