The characters really did feel way too thin - the first person I actually liked was the blind guy (K2SO had its moments, but didn't feel completely consistent as a character). For as unoriginal as it was, TFA was a much more enjoyable experience to me largely because the characters were so vibrant and well

Yeah, I think I'd go B+ for it, or maybe A- (with last year's on a solid D+, if that). It was kinda slight but it was fun; the emotions held together, the characters were worth rooting for and there were some traditional Moffat neat ideas which got just the right around of exploration.

Sorry, my bad, I didn't lay that out correctly, I meant from season 7 of Friends through to 'Joey' (which lasted 2 seasons… approximately 2 seasons more than it was funny). Have cleared that up a bit.

There it is! Good to see a return to form ;)

Was that it? Wasn't worth it.

Ha! Do go on! I can't wait to hear your next attempt to be witty!

Ooh, another one! Fun!

I really like that idea. You could even push it closer to Pratt's character being responsible (while still not doing anything bad directly) by having him ask the bartender how to wake her up, and saying how much he'd like to, even admitting that it'd be horrendous but that at least he wouldn't be lonely. The bartender

Well, one example isn't exactly glowing, when the only other main pairings in the DCEU are Joker and Harley Quinn (with him 19 years older) and, coming up, Wonder Woman and Chris Pine (him 5 years older), though admittedly the latter is pretty close, particularly by Hollywood standards.

Eh, I don't think it ever got that far (with the solitary exception of the Johnny Karate entire moronic episode) but he did become more a detriment than an asset in the show's last few seasons. It wasn't just the actor, though; the writers didn't know what to do with him; they didn't want him to actually grow as a

Aww, you're adorable.

Compared to what we have on TV at the moment this feels like a very small show… but it is absolutely brilliant. If this is what a small show can be, I'll take them over expensive sagas any day. Excited for season 2.

Yeah, I can't remember if it's said in season 7 or in the 'Redemption' film (or both), but it's pretty much brushed off that Wayne died, Noah Daniels took his place but proved unpopular as a successor (hence losing to Taylor at the next election).

It really did. And I can see why it would be harder on him than on most - having recurred for a year [and more? I forget] and finally being promoted to main cast, being made the show's President (a vital role in each of the previous series), and being given material mostly recycled from previous plotlines while also

Hooray! You finally got the grammar correct in the headline! I haven't commented about it before, I swear, just quietly simmered each time I saw it.

I love you, Sean.

I love Jaime Camil and Rogelio in general, and you're right that it is a great cast all round… but what Rodriguez does… man. Her performance in the season 3 premiere was breathtaking, and she's pulled off that stuff regularly. Camil is consistently entertaining (and his performance has helped make Rogelio my favourite

No Gina Rodriguez, you've screwed up somewhere.

You know, I think I've got an easy fix for that - what if there were essentially two Waller types, one who intends to use the villains for undercover ops where they need deniability (as the Suicide Squad was meant to be used for in the first place) and another who takes that idea and decides to go gung-ho in a

'edited by ferrets on riding mowers' is such a good description for Suicide Squad they should put it on the DVD cover (they could even include the 'a decently entertaining movie despite being' bit first if they wanted). Thank you.
