It's decent comedy-wise, but it's pretty rough as a film with normal character and story arcs. I get why it's loved, and I find it's worth watching every few years or so, but I can't say I subscribe to the fandom.

I saw the headline and thought that this was about The Secret Seven, and was confused why DC had them on their roster. My bad.

Damn, dude, minus? That was A stuff, no doubt.

Hey, leave some hate for Carry On England!

Ah, the Carry On series, filled with about 3 good films, a dozen watchable relics and sixteen damning criticisms of British cinema.

I actually really like the gentler, almost family friendly fun you find in the first few, particularly Sergeant and Teacher, though I admit they may not be as strong as a few of the 60s entries.

AaaaOOOOOOOOOOH!

I was bracing myself for the entire episode for Michael to die. Just being shot is a relief!

You know, I was thinking that there wouldn't be material in the show for ANOTHER baby, but actually there are a lot of ways they could go with the storyline, especially if it's Esteban's (the mileage from Rogelio's emotions would fuel the show for years). But whether it's any good for Xo's character and story… I don't

Not sure how he'd wind up in a wheelchair from that, but I too am pretty sure he's going to survive. If they were going to kill him, it would have been there (you don't cliffhanger on a near-tragedy and then kick off the resolution with the worst case scenario, it's not structurally sound). He might still die at some

See, I do think The Dark Knight is a good film, with some fantastic elements, but it's kept from being fantastic by being too rushed and too bloated. It could/should have been two of the best comic book movies of all time (thinking 90-110 minutes each), and instead it was crammed into one 150 minute film. (Age of

OH YES and that solves what I wondered about [SPOILER?] Sharon Carter being Peggy's niece, yet sharing her surname; presumably it had to come from a male sibling, so I wondered if Peggy had another (younger?) brother (or would have later?) who could have been Sharon's father. Although it's possible there's some level

'Oh dear, I hadn't thought of that', says God, and promptly vanishes in a puff of logic.

ABC are morons. Why the hell didn't they co-produce Galavant and Agent Carter with the BBC or another British network? Every Brit I know who's watched them has adored them, and both have a massive cultural cachet to tap into over here. Just look at the guest stars in season 2 of Galavant! Or the leads in Agent Carter!

I can't speak for the other two shows, but Jane the Virgin is indeed one of the greatest TV shows in history.

Don't forget Abed helping to take down Hydra in Winter Soldier. At least, I assume he helped. Somehow.

Did it? http://www.avclub.com/artic… says BvS had the sixth highest opening, this article puts Civil War (at $11million more) at fifth (presumably knocking BvS down to seventh). Just domestically, that is.

A few years ago I actually wrote to a cinema (not IMAX, mind, just regular) complaining because after 15 minutes of trailers for upcoming films they then spent another 5 minutes advertising the cinema itself (which, as you may gather, we were already sitting in) by showcasing all of the upcoming films that we'd just

I actually liked this episode more than most. Some of the character moments were repetitive, but they were better written and acted here than they have been all season (I really enjoyed Vandal Savage's performance in this episode for about the first time). I like the action when the show wheels it out, but I don't

Mick really has turned into one of the most enjoyable players on the show, given that he started out as little more than Snart's plus one (a point elucidated by the show already).
