The scenes/shots that made me the most hopeful were Marcie and Peppermint Patty. They just look and act spot on. I could definitely go for this.

Well, if you're going to steal, steal from the best.

Giggling like a madman here. I love these guys.

I loved all of Nicky's flashbacks, not because it was necessarily good storytelling, but because Lyonne is just immensely watchable. I'd like to see an improvement in the use of flashbacks as the season/series goes on, but in episodes centred around someone as captivating as her it doesn't matter all that much.

I've only seen the first episode so far (and haven't read the book), but I really enjoyed what I saw. Without spoilers, what do you suppose the odds are of a second series? I believe Clarke is working on a second book with a focus on other characters from the story, but presumably that is still quite a way off, and

I too was a bit thrown by that. Not that the actors playing Segundas and Strange look THAT alike (although they do perhaps share more in common than any two other members of the cast), but the fact that Segundas disappears completely (I think?) at the same time that Strange first appears meant that during Strange's

I still like Bennett - not as a person, but as a character. I find his arc so far engaging and believable. He's a moron, but I can relate to that. The Afghanistan scenes didn't really work, and the scenes with Cesar were a tad over the top, but in general I like what they've done and are doing with the character and

I can't say I agree (I found her season 2 work to be very impressive), but that's a great final sentence. Nicely done.

Maybe she's just in Piper's head?

It's the film adaptation of the stage show we've been waiting for! AND IT WILL ALL BE MCU CANON.

"Although Jenji Kohan is on record as missing the benefits of collective viewing in Netflix’s all-at-once model"

"These reviews will be written without foreknowledge of what takes place in future episodes, and thus will feature no spoilers for later episodes."

They just made terrific choices in choosing what to keep and what to throw. Part of 'My Name' made it into the incidental music, but mostly it's dropped (because it's pretty pants, really). I also love how they moved Oom-Pah-Pah from a daft booze up just introducing a scene to a crucial moment in the climax. Very

There are no other Fagins. Only Ron Moody.

Side note - I think we should be friends. Or possibly we're the same person with multiple personalities. We can't be sure.

Oliver! is one of the few film adaptations of stage musicals which completely surpasses its source material (the stage show is good, but not fantastic). Part of that comes from a very clever manipulation of the existing show into a new structure, some stellar direction, astounding choreography (particularly in the

Megabyte and Hexadecimal were both fantastic, both very different villains. I just love the variety between those two, where one is megalomaniacal, obsessed with control and fiercely resolute, while the other is insane, obsessed with chaos, and actually able to evolve (which she does over the course of the show). They

I was so excited to see it. Tambor in a groundbreaking show, with a great (to my mind) pun in the title to boot. And then I watched the first episode. My God was it awful. Tambor's scenes were engaging, but the rest were beyond annoying. It took 20 minutes to get to a scene that I could actually tell was meant to be

As guns are in the UK rather than the USA, which was the original point of provocation ;)

I see very little reason to worry about government surveillance. It has yet to affect my life, negatively or positively (and I've seen more examples of good it can do than bad).
