Deal. I didn't actually mind the Chewbacca tag (in fact it was an unused joke from season 3, they talk about wanting to use it on the s3 DVD commentary) but you're right that 'Depends on what fails!' was way better (and really the best thing about s5's two part finale).

I think Abed is vaguely 25-40.

Weeeeeeell, I feel like my point about the same people watching both still stands… but sure, we can have this conversation.

Ooh, I'd forgotten about Polygraphy. That probably sits just outside my top five. I actually find season 4's average better than season 5's average (s5 bombed more often and harder than s4, for me at least), but Polygraphy soars mightily above s4.

Pretty much exactly not my point.

The problem with the last season of Scrubs was that it wasn't funny (although it did actually have some strong character work).

I maintain the season 4 finale was a much, much better finale than the season 5 one (I'd have hated that to be the last episode, one which sidelines some of its strongest characters in favour of retreading worn character beats in a self-indulgent cocky mess).

It definitely shot straight to my top five - the only one from seasons 4, 5 and 6 to do so.

I feel like you didn't give the fantastic joke of the Dean's pitch enough credit, how it has three black people in it, one of which doesn't do anything and the other two which hew closer together as the pitch goes on. He only introduced a third black person to try and shame the others for (barely) implying that they

I'd rather pretend season 5 never happened. Or maybe drop half the episodes from both seasons and make one above-adequate season.

I actually just think there was a bit too much dead weight that didn't go anywhere, and unfortunately it was all very near the start. I'm very excited about the promised chronological cut (I watched the fan-made version and it does all go down a hell of a lot better).

SIX SEASONS AND A MOVIE

I wasn't a fan of 'Up at 5', but I've loved pretty much all the others of those. Just Falcon is always amazing.

I died on the operating table. Fortunately I possessed the nurse and took his body on a murderous rampage, before finally getting a voodoo witch to put my soul back in my body.

Don't worry, my friend. You'll do fine. We have six seasons, I'm sure we'll get our movie, and whatever happens for Community you'll be okay. Plus, every time I've felt like nothing could match an amazing TV show, there's been another one before too long to pick up the awesome (I thought I'd never laugh as much after

Oh, I get that, and I adored it, I just personally wouldn't like that to be what it ended on. I feel there's a stronger ending for the characters (one where the final beat actually involves them, for example). And I'm hoping to see that in the form of a movie.

Fair enough.

That's because you're used to American drinks.

The logic used by American gun-enthusiasts reminds me of part of Rhod Gilbert's standup: he (jokingly) rants at people who drink coffee before driving, saying that because 1 in 5 accidents are caused by people who fall asleep at the wheel, 4 in 5 accidents are caused by staying awake at the wheel, so therefore you're
