Groanmusing. That's the only possible description I can have for this show. It is the most groanmusing show on television. Every minute is both incredibly funny and incredibly painful. I'm not sure I can take another season of this.

I wouldn't be surprised if, should the show last five seasons or so, we keep getting a glimpse of him every so often, but never connecting to anything else. Finally, in the last episode, he makes contact, and runs out of oxygen.

JD's very likeable.

Oh, Garret Dillahunt. I miss you in more things.

By the end of Phase 3 a marathon of the movies alone will be (judging by the length of this one) 56 hours long.

It seems to be becoming more prevalent in media - even this article includes Mindy Kaling and Aziz Ansari in its opening paragraph without distinction.

Tea is for people with class.

Don't blame the Brits, it's clearly you Americans confusing your terminologies. You're now starting to refer to people from South Asia as Asians, as well as people from East Asia! If you're going to be wrong, you could at least stick to your convictions.

It's well worth the time ;) Best of luck with the job hunting :)

And Gordon honestly went to 'Boyal' first. Jesus. This show is amazing.

As someone who is also a Doctor Who fan, and whose main TV diet at the moment consists of SHIELD, Arrow, The Flash, Gotham (teehee), Community and Childrens Hospital, believe me, this doesn't seem like my kind of show either, but it's my favourite show at the moment, no question. It's well worth checking out, at least

Pardon my forewardness, but I've seen you around the geekier parts of this site, and so I thought I'd speak to you, one geek to another: Check it out. My regular drama lineup currently consists of SHIELD, Arrow, The Flash, Gotham (teehee) and this show, and this is by far my favourite. In fact, it's my favourite show

Fuuuuuuuuck. That's her Emmy. No matter what category this show had been put into, that's her Emmy.

This show isn't as funny as it used to be, but it still gets some good giggles. Gordon being visibly 'pushed to his limits', morally speaking, for the umpteenth time this season; Gordon taking more than one go to turn 'OYAL' into 'ROYAL' (and then needing Bullock to confirm it!); and of course Bullock alerting the guy

You can see the depressing shift in the extras industry (if there is such a thing) on the Iron Man trilogy DVD set:

You have someone - either one of the guards or Fisk, or someone in a later scene - respond to it to prove it was intentional.

I've said more in another comment, but I just think you're giving the writer more credit than he deserves, because the mistake wasn't set up or dealt with in the episode, and any setup from the rest of the series was vague enough (and forgotten by this point) so as not to be effective.

I think you're giving the show way more credit here than it deserves. Certainly, at other points Fisk allows other people to choose his art, fashions, etc for him, but he never makes this kind of error anywhere else. In fact, he DOES acknowledge his own ignorance, several times (which you cite yourself), so it's

Okay, I'll just about buy that. It still doesn't change the fact that he(or the writer) got the point of it completely wrong, or that he (or the writer) thought a way of demonstrating that you've studied some of the Bible would be to explain [incorrectly] the best known parable from the entire thing.

Well, he treats them as if they would never have heard of it, which is about as strange (and they don't respond in a way which would suggest they have).
