There actually is a private Chinese company that has done some test launches of a small-scale reusable rocket that is very much like Falcon 9.

I’d like to float the idea of Mahershala Ali. I think he has the perfect blend of gravitas, wit, and charm to fit the role (not to mention a beautifully cool and collected speaking voice, to boot). In addition to that, he has the right stature and poise for Thrawn and seems to enjoy genre roles quite a bit (he was in

Good countries probably figure they’ll just jump into Starlink and enjoy internet infrastructure without having to set it up themselves.

If the DC people ran the MCU we’d be getting Iron Fist season 3 right about now.

The Facebook comments to this article had some great suggestions but I hate replying to FB comments because it shows up in my friends’ feeds.
The most obvious: Lars Mikkleson. He’s already done it well.
Daniel Dae Kim was my favorite, if he can do the accent.
Bokeem Woodbine: I love his voice inflection for the role...

Mark Strong didn’t consistently put in quality work in okay to meh genre films to be ignored on the shortlist for Thrawn. If he didn’t have a problem being orange, he’ll have no problem being blue.

It’s a toss up between Danny DeVito and Kevin Hart. I think actually they should switch off between scenes to see who can tell. Either way it will still be more convincing than [insert some CGI / Deepfaked / De-aged actor/character that SW has tried to do] that one(multiple)  time(s) in [endless amount of these

The first season of B5, had some filler episodes, that are definite dogs, but for ever War Prayer, TKO and Grail, there are episodes like Deathwalker and Believers. When the show hit it’s stride, even the filler episodes were better than most of the other genre television of their time.

I thought the show made it clear that Hex Vision didn’t transfer his memories, he just unlocked White Vision’s memories which were being supressed. That would include everything up until the moment he was killed by Thanos.

Of course, it’s not actually remotely cab over, since cab overs are impossible to make remotely safe. It just seems like they decided to go with a 3 foot long dashboard. I figure they didn’t want it to look like a Chevy Express van with a pickup bed so they went with the giant bubble front instead.

This was a weird article and I think it was pretty tone deaf. Unless he’s omitting something, he was never in any real danger. It felt like kind of a slap in the face as someone who might *actually* be a victim of a hate crime - a relatively flamboyant black city boy. What are his concerns? That someone might think he

I felt attacked from all sides — the bullying tractor-trailers on the highway, the flatness, the cold, the constant anxiety about where it would be safe to piss.

I will be 43 in less then a week.  Watching this shit make me feel like I am actively losing brain cells.  Kids these days

Fuck off Torch. The fuck are your bringing stans into this for? Can you not write a single article without including that? No one gives a fuck about whether it exploded or not in terms of how successful the launch was. Elon Musk knows this and no one who gives a single fuck about space flight does either. This is a

I watched this and thought, “things I’d do if I were him”:

I’m not entirely convinced the driver had much involvement in keeping that rig shiny side up, I think he was along for a very lucky ride, which could have ended poorly.

Ultron is in Boston running a legal practice with his domestic partner Denny Crane.

No I really don’t think so at all..
