The primary impediment to buying a new console is demand. One of the easiest ways to reduce demand is to raise the price, which retailers can’t do (except with bundles). The only reason I can get a PS5 right now is because there’s someone selling one over MSRP and not keeping the console for themselves. I’m not

Friendo, you fundamentally misunderstand how this whole air transportation thing works.

Yeah, listening to some of these anti-recliners (including Josh and his ridiculous ‘aim your vent at them’ idea) and I’m like “have you literally ever been on a plane? Ever?” Also, I haven’t seen such a collection of allegedly 6+ foot people since I was browsing tinder.

It’s not liberal vs. conservative, it’s people who actually fly regularly (recliners) vs. people who almost never fly but form their opinions based on a few small online communities (people who think reclining is evil).

Like I said, feel free to set up a youtube channel showing yourself seeking remuneration from people reclining into “your” space. If you paid for it and they’re stealing it, you’re undermining your own argument by not enforcing ownership. They have taken it by adverse possession and it is no longer yours, “chief.”

I’ve never had the screen shut off when someone reclines the seat in front of me. What airline does that?

Geez...people who freak over something as minor as this make me wonder how they are able to deal with common situations in their day to day lives.

Please film yourself asking for reimbursement from fellow travelers who recline into “your space.” I would watch a YouTube channel devoted to these escapades; heck, I might even click an ad link on such a channel.

You paid for the space behind your seat that it can recline into. Conversely, if you feel the person reclining their seat in front of you is taking something you paid for, kindly ask them for a refund.

I’m tall. 5'11". I have two bad knees, and a bad hip. Reclining helps. I can stretch my legs out too. They go right under the chair in front.

Airlines have this thing called “seats that offer more room” that you can pay for so you can get your work done.  If you’re paying for coach, you’re getting coach space.

Partially. The airline wrote the rules, yes. It’s up to us to play by them. If you want more leg room, you can pay extra for it. Otherwise, my seat reclines, and if I want to use the feature I *did* pay for, I’m going to use it.

I just don’t understand this anti-recline movement. I am typically on about 20 or more flights a year. I can see if you are an above average sized person, but most airlines have some sort of extra leg room upgrade. The recline feature of the airline seat is part of what you pay for and the space the seat takes up,

People who are 6+ft and 200+lb shouldn’t be allowed to buy basic economy tickets. They arms usually hang over the chair arms and their knees prevent the people in front of them from reclining. Solution should be for them to buy better seats. Stop expecting other people to accommodate your weight/height issues while

This. I hope that the person in front of me is nice enough to not recline their seat all the way (reclining a bit is no biggie) but I accept the fact that they have the ability/right to do so. Personally I like to recline mine just a tiny bit so that I’m not completely upright because that helps my back.

It pleases me that a simple act of reclining a seat so I am more comfortable causes such stress and anxiety in non-recliner monsters. #EvilWeek

I am 6 feet tall and about 185 lbs. Never had an issue with leg room because I sit with my butt all the way to the back of my seat. For larger humans there are options such as buying a seat with extra leg room, first class, etc. Also, the seats recline from the bottom which means the actual area where your knees are

K so.... I need to recline. Especially on long flights. My back, legs, hips, can’t sit upright for hours on end. So I don’t care if people recline in front of me either. Regarding meal time, it’s required on flights that I’ve been on, that you straighten your seat while it’s meal time. So I don’t see that one as an

I’ve always been in the camp of ‘when you pay for your ticket you pay for your right to recline your seat back’. I’ll recline my seat whenever I damn well please, with the exception of takeoff/landing/meal service, including but not limited to when the person in front of me reclines.

Dude seats recline a maximum of 1 1/2 inches at the most. It’s within margin of error. Recline your own seat and let it go.
