I think people modded in controller support with the open release? It’s got a Vita and Switch port so it’s definitely at least done on those platforms and I’ll assume PC has it too.
I keep meaning to install the Vita port of Vice City on my Vita. Such a cool reverse engineering initiative.
Fun fact, you used to be able to play the Minecraft Telltale game on Netflix. They were planning on bringing a Stranger Things Telltale game as well.
When Microsoft bought Bethesda, I immediately said these guys are pushing XCloud hard. It’s gonna be a great system if they pull it off, Bethesda’s big, slow-paced single player portfolio seems like a perfect fit for streaming.
Speedrunners are weird.
I agree with this! I recall trying the mouse and keyboard options for Darksiders on a whim and immediately switching to a controller.
While I do wish for the best quality pc ports... I’m just glad this game got one at all? I've never played Ninja Gaiden. I’ll play it for cheap.
CS Source also launched at a time where live ops wasn’t really a thing.
As someone who doesn’t play CSGO and just read this article, I’m confused.
I don’t understand why they’re delisting them from the stores though? Leave them on the store and put a big bright red banner on the Origin store page saying ONLINE FUNCTIONALITY FOR THIS GAME NO LONGER WORKS.
I was wondering exactly this. I’m curious if I buy a DualSense controller if I can take advantage of the haptic feedback when I build a Unity game or something.
I’ve tried Stadia on pc with Chrome and it works great. I think Stadia's issue is how they market it and the fact that they don't have either a Netflix - like subscription model or more free - to - play games. (They added Destiny a few months ago but it felt a little too late)
Man, Scarlet Dawn needs a PS4 port so bad. I loved HotD4 on PS3, and I’d love to be able to play through Scarlet Dawn but I don’t think any arcades have them here also there’s a global pandemic still.
Epic charges a 12% cut.
I’m saying I don’t see Epic moving the 12% mark anytime soon.
I don’t see the 12% cut moving. Steam can be very successful still taking a smaller cut.
My twinge of hope is that Apex Legends is keeping the Titanfall brand in the public zeitgeist enough that EA agrees to give it one more shot with Titanfall 3... And it’s single player - oriented again.
Yeah I didn’t mind playing it with borderless windowed, but it’d crash on startup when in fullscreen mode and I needed to reboot my pc to get around it.
I bought The Order when I bought my PS4, which was around 8 months after the game launched.
