I played through GTA Episodes From Liberty City a few years ago and had to first force the game to run windowed, then used borderless gaming to get it full screen, otherwise it’d crash on startup. Then I had to figure out how to get it working around all the Games for Windows Live stuff.

It’s the square root of 1.5

I thought Nintendo shut down the PC port last year but I guess not?

I don’t think it needs a remake at all but the improvements in tech from LOU1 to LOU2 was huge. The differences in tech between the original and this game will be massive, but yeah I don’t think a remake is necessary.

I played flat Superhot a few months after its release, and really enjoyed it. I played through Superhot VR in 2017 and absolutely loved it.

There’s a PCVR mod for Doom 3 BFG Edition. I've only tried the Quest version and it's great. It’s funny how the Quest mods the original game while the pc version requires the re-release.

Are you running it on a desktop or laptop?

I think HoloLens was viewed as a consumer product at first but turned to enterprise and military as development went on.

For real, the standalone elements of the Quest 2 are its real seller. I bought it primarily to play with my PC (My laptop’s HDMI port isn’t compatible with VR due to annoying technical reasons, I’ve tried). I played through HL Alyx when I got it, and play the odd PC-only release, but I’ve been primarily playing it

Just gonna mention the two best-selling VR headsets are the Oculus Quest 2 and Playstation VR. The Quest 2 has outsold all of Oculus’ earlier headsets’ numbers combined.

PAX East 2020 was late-February/Early-March 2020. Must have been one hell of a Covid superspreader event.

I have this game on Steam and I recall trying it circa 2013/2014-ish and just.... Not liking it? I played for maybe an hour and just wasn’t into it. Didn’t get the hype.

I’ve had really bad experience with Slack when it comes to video calls. Teams and Google Meet are a lot better in my experience.

Semi - related, but amid covid online gaming has become my social life.

I felt this hard when I was unemployed. Any time not spent honing your craft or applying /interviewing for jobs made me feel awful.

I feel like that video is just showing proof-of-concept texture replacements and not so much great examples of texture replacements.

Given that their next game will be fully funded by Epic, I doubt it'll have one year exclusivity. It'll probably be permanently on the Epic Store.

It costs $20. It was free on Playstation+ for its first month.

Yeah this makes sense, the Fall Guys team has the exact same mindset/vision for their game as Epic did with Fortnite. Guess Fall Guys will go Free-To-Play in a few months.

I was gonna say the opposite, that community fixes like these are exactly why I prefer pc releases. Any issues on a console release you gotta just live with, pc usually has a fix to iron out all the kinks.
