serves him right for rooting for the refs

Kermit Washington, a 6'8" but “skinny” 220 lb forward, nearly killed a guy on the court from one punch. There’s a reason the NBA instituted such stringent rules and restrictions following the Malice at the Palace: because these athletes can fuck people up if given the chance. And if Westbrook thought what the guy said

I played Div 1a football at 260ish and I’m only 6'4" at age 30

Losing your job and having your life ruined is the kind of thing that can happen in the social media era if you choose to be a racist asshole out in the real world where everyone can see and take video. Given the tone of your post, seems you’ve already figured out you should keep all the nasty things you believe to

The NBA should also put Utah on a warning saying if anything like this happens again they’ll have an empty arena game like it’s the Serbian National soccer team or whatever

Utah is a very interesting place (especially Salt Lake). It’s a place where some of the residents try their best to distance themselves from the stereotype the state is destined to have. I was mortified when my parents (I’m black btw) decided to open up a business there. However, they made a shit-ton of money there

Technically that’s inaccurate. They’re paid to dribble, shoot, pass, play defense, rebound, call plays (which requires not shutting up), talk to the media (also not shutting up), make public relations visits (again with the not shutting up), etc.  Hot take.

*ahem*

That’s “wives,” Russ.

I hope that this is an isolated incident, and not something that becomes poutine.

I heard he called poutine “shitty soggy fries”.

You’d think disposal would be more complicated when dealing with anything involving the CFL.

Don’t rule out the biker gangs

It happened in Montreal so...something with strippers? Smoking strippers? Smoking strippers making a big deal about sub-par bagels and ok deli meat? Fin du Monde?

At 40 feet, it was only 1.581 seconds of free fall. So really it was only around half as scary as you imagine it was.

B+ for the effort.  Only missing the folding table by 5 feet on a 40 foot drop is pretty impressive when taking into account the assumed lack of practice.

Fun fact: “The Touching is, To Me, Off Limits,” was the original title of MC Hammer’s 1990 breakthrough single.

Dude is legit. His numbers are great.

What point does he have? Nurkic is good. One of the better starting centers in the league.

Simmons can start talking the moment defenses quit treating him like this.

Yeah, he’s objectively not ass. If we’re looking at efficiency, Nurkic is not one for Simmons to go after. Who is “better” (A/B)?
