The wife’s “car” (Volt), when it takes gas, requires 91 minimum. 91 is the max we get in CA, unless i go to the place that also sells race gas. She gets about 10% mileage increase with 96 pump gas, 41v38 for 91. But the price of the higher octane fuel more than negates the savings
