The recent season was a little boring at times. Hopefully they punch up the writers

Since they once did an episode where the show was reimagined as different Saturday morning cartoons, I’d like one where it’s reimagined as more modern cartoons, like a Rick & Morty version of Futurama.
You had me at “Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt.”
Gosling in dopey-charm mode is pretty much unstoppable.
I’ve assumed this would be a spiritual sister film to Sofia’s Marie Antoinette (barely legal young girl swept up in arranged marriage to royalty, and its discontents). I’m pretty excited to see Sofia’s take.
Allie Chanthorn Reinmann. Big shoes to fill. Awesome post.

“I’m not responsible for how people interpret things,” he said, noting that, of course, the world looks a lot different now than it did when people were passing the film around dorm rooms in the early 2000s. “Language evolves. Symbols evolve,” he said.
+1,0000 on “basic media literacy”. People are deeply, deeply stupid.
Soooo do we get to hear the things from “similar things” that wife Linda wrote about? No? Okay. Just thought it was a news article.
I can’t believe there are no comments on this yet. I love this episode so much, too. My husband and I watch it every year. Our favorite part is Mrs. Weir singing Monster Mash - it’s so sweet and cringe at the same time. Lovely essay, Meredith.
I kinda did that already!
