This just reminds me of how terrible and pointless Scott Pilgrim was as a movie.

I love punk, and I like their country sound much more than the original. However, its really not anything new. Punk and Folk/Country have a long history together just ask Billy Bragg or better yet Against Me!

The issue here is that Star Wars and Jurassic Park are both in the middle of shooting right now and they can't afford to pull away from filming long enough to get everyone to the con.

It was a fun movie, I liked it.

I'm in South Orange County and couldn't get passes this year, but its also really fun just to go spend the day in the gas lamp district drinking and looking at all the cosplay. Its easy enough to take the train back home too. Not sure if I'm going to this year though.

This is the only movie that I'm choosing to see in theaters this summer. Never read the comics, the movie just looks that fun to me.
