My experience with Delta, as a brown lady. Three years ago, flying from a meeting in Detroit to SF, standing in the premier line. Gate agent repeatedly tries to shoo me out of the line a good 10 minutes before boarding was going to start. Mind you he approached none of the other (white, male) passengers in the

I love Heather the same way I love Lisa Vanderpump Todd: They’re wealthy, over the top, and live in an opulent bubble of fabulousness. I’d trade my daily work shenanigans for being paid to get kicked out of luxury stores any day!

I love how pronounced/staccato her speech gets when she’s angry. Or maybe it just sticks out more when its directly juxtaposed against everyone else’s slurry words.

Roses are red

There once was a jackass named Trump

That and her theories on whether or not her father was fatter than pregnant people (he is) kept me laughing at that dinner scene, especially knowing that she didn’t like getting called fat by her father so she was giving it back to him and doubling down too.

episcopalian, actually...most just call me piss.

thoughts, i got ‘em:

If we as a country are going to have a serious and frank discussion about the American immigration policy, then it’s high time that we admit one simple truth:

This is actually a large part of the reason Republicans oppose early voting efforts. Republicans tend to have the type of jobs that allow them to take time off to vote (or attend rallies) whereas the Democratic base, with a less affluent working core, often doesn’t have that luxury. If you minimize alternative times

He’s got a Bob Durst vibe to him. Now I’m totally curious as to what happened to his finger.

What is Trump signing on that hat? All I can see is “Shall Love Carnies”.

What the fuck does this creepy bald dude with the busted finger know that I don’t? He’s totally freaking me out.

who are all these noble and brave patriots who can be at a Trump rally at 10am on a weekday? Shouldn’t they be at their jobs, all furiously bootstrapping? Sad!

I can’t find any info as to who posted the bail, but I found this comment on an article describing his release 2 months ago. The whole thing was so awful, and so predictable.

Exactly. If this guy had abducted, tied up, and beaten a stranger for a week, he would have been considered a monster and potential serial killer. But the fact that he was married to her made him somehow appear less violent or dangerous? The judge was probably wondering what this woman did to make her husband so

On the plus side, the MASSIVE rewrite that the NYTimes had to do on their story on this since their regular Trump dude apparently decided to prefile before the AZ speech is hilarious.

As much as I detest both that decision and the result, I do think you’re letting this system off easy by placing the blame on the Judge. This isn’t one Judge going off the sliding scale. It’s the system as a whole not even breaking down. It’s doing exactly what it was designed to do, which was precisely not enough.

Depends on state law. In many states, judges are not even elected but rather are appointed like federal judges. In that case, removal might require impeachment, or there might be some other oversight process, such as through a judicial conduct board. In states that do elect judges, sometimes recall initiatives are

Fuck Judge Gary Gilman. This woman’s death is on your hands asshole. And as usual incompetent men won’t suffer consequences while this woman is now dead.
