It's a Hydra Cap and Watchmen article all in one, the perfect shitstorm

I drank too much of the former and ate a plate meant for 3 of the later. The bartender was not amused.

What I've read so far this week:

I'm coming out of hiding in what's sure going to be a shitstorm of a comments section. Work has been chaos lately so I haven't had the chance to comment as much as I used to.

There's a lot I want to pick up this week but I'm keeping the list short at Black Hammer, Wild Storm, Injection, Sex Criminals, Steve Rogers Captain America, and Secret Empire.

But how will you ever find the bluest blues!

The short answer, the white light will enhance your screen in general while the RGB light will allow for variations that plays with the way your eyes see the color.

Now just add a resume option to their app and they're golden

Just 5 time displaced Cyclops permanently at the various stages of puberty

No his Shield series never finished.

This seems like a good spot to bring up Marvel announcing that after Secret Empire there won't be another event for at least 18 months.

I'm grabbing Deadly Class, Cinema Purgatario, and maybe X-Men Prime. This week I would recommend people pick up the first volume of Black Hammer that comes out this week. It's currently one of my favorite books coming out and adds interesting twists to familiar superhero tropes.

Not to spoil anything but the last issue of Deadly Class was so over the top hopeful for a Remender book that I imagine everything will just be a total shit show from here on out.

Well I mean the mastermind behind this is Geoff Johns, known for such subtle plots as evil baby gun Darkseid and having a yearly "limbs lost" quota to meet. So I'm kind of shocked someone hasn't gotten a big blue teabag yet.

And it always rolls double 1's

It feels weirdly ham-fisted to me. For them to go, "hey this the old superman you know and love but he also has had all the nu52 timeline stuff happen to him." *shoves hands in pockets and walks away whistling*

So Thor Odinson became unworthy because Fury whispered to him "Gorr was right". So it tied back around to Aaron's run on the book, with Thor losing the right to hold the hammer upon realizing the gods in general are unworthy to have the power they do.

I would actually double down on this being my gold age too. New X-Men, X-Force/X-Statix, and JSA at the time got me back into comics. Most of these books at the time seemed to be moving things in a fresh, interesting direction. I keep meaning to pick up the Tangled Web collections. Most of those stories were

As a fan of Aaron's run on the book, I found it to be a satisfying conclusion.

Shutter #28: Almost brought a tear to my eye on the train. For how rough this last arc has been, going over the relationship between Kate and Alarm Cat really nails what's made the series so strong.
