Started buying Christmas gifts today so I'm keeping it light, Harrow County and Black Monday Murders. Might slip in one of the Marvel event books because I like torturing myself. I have morbid curiosity as to how Death of X works out.
I'm thankful for my friends, family, this networking job that finally got me out of being an elevator operator, the last few conversations I got to have with my grandmother, meeting a lady, and last but not least finally stopped lurking around here and meeting lots of great people.
*shoves whole fist into mouth*
Let's get weird? No? Back to my corner.
What is "The Walking Dead"?
For better or worse it appears to mark a return to the status quo for both franchises. Given the solicitations for February though, I'm not a fan of a seemingly full heel turn for Scott, Emma, and the return to it for Magneto.
Honestly, wasn't Deathstroke a bit of a C list villain between the Judas Contract and until that issue of Identity Crisis? Not judging anyone's enjoyment of him but I can't recall him being used effectively or made a true threat until then.
Finally got around to reading Cinema Purgatario #7. Not much to say about it. The stuff that's been great, is still great. The decent stuff, still decent. The Alan Moore story is still most definitely an Alan Moore story. Started Prophet again thanks to the first volume being on Comixology Unlimited. Working…
That sounds pretty neat to just be accepted to, hope it works out.
I have no idea to be honest. I'm going to guess it hasn't been addressed since I don't see Starfox appearing in the movies or a TV show anytime soon.
Nah not an anthology series. Each issue so far has served the purpose of fleshing out the individual characters while also moving forward the narrative of how they adapt and interact with this town that theyr're in. While also in the background they deal with the greater mystery of the book, (minor spoiler) why…
As well as each issue stands on its own I think the trade format will definitely help the pacing of the overall story.
The last issue really settled it for me, the book is amazing and everyone should be reading it.
Forgive my ignorance and apparent inability to use Google today, but what's DINK?
I feel like its a problem with both of the big two right now. I've dropped a lot of my superhero books over the last few months.
I'll second Red Son
He's just way overused at this point. I get that they're making sure everyone and their brother knows who he is, but it's gotten to the point where he's kind of generic. In recent memory I think the only time he's been properly used was in the Secret Wars: Siege mini.
Ether was a very good first issue, I'm definitely invested. The art and creature design gave me a very Dr. Seuss feel. There's also twist at the end that helps give it emotional depth that isn't mentioned in the article.
Can't wait to sync this up with Talladega Nights
