Yeah that bothered me a lot more when I read it initially than when I read it again a couple of weeks back.

Southern Bastards #15: Start of a new arch, all the characters detailed over the last one are now in the same place so I assume the plot will start moving quickly. I'm a big fan of a the way a lot of the panels are framed and used in this series in general, this issue was no different.

I've only seen this show in bits and had the plots to described to me by my buddy's 4 year old. His thoughts on one random episode with a bunch of magic users, "He's a witch boy, what else is he going to do." Which seems pretty accurate to me for Kalrion.

It seemed a little condescending to me too. Almost implying that by being superhero comics the stories that they're telling are regulated to only a certain level of respectability.
