I thought it was Marie of Romania. But maybe?

Well, women cook dinner so our talent can’t be raw. **runs and hides**

obligatory.

No longer an oraphan.

Its because she has a low, deep voice, and all women are shrill, amiright? Ergo, her voice cannot be real.

or no one will give a shit

I’ll bet the response to this from the tech industry will be nuanced, reflective, and ultimately supportive.

Among some people she has lost all credibility. It will be interesting to see what kind of sentiment people have toward the book and Pao’s experiences.

Oh, for sure, but honestly, as I continue thinking about your list and reflect back on my own years as a singer, I really do believe that women’s bodies may be better equipt for singing than men’s. Even just speaking from an operatic viewpoint, what women are asked to do vocally in classical music is freaking

bjork and amy. grace jones, lena lovitch sinade o’connor. dolores O’riordan, alison moyet, annie lenox, imani coppola

Honestly, the only man who I think could feasibly join that perfectly correct list is Freddie Mercury. Otherwise, yes, correct, A+ to you!

Since we’re currently in a golden age of television you should be grateful for what these white men have provided you.

“But you guys, I am so totally committed to diversity! Seriously, all the characters on my show are white but we still hired a guy from Detroit. I mean, he’s white too but in college he bought drugs from some like super black people. Well, one of them was biracial but that still counts like 3/5ths or whatever.”

While lots and lots of people of all races/ethnicities/genders work in Hollywood, and any one of them or group of them can theoretically choose to work on whatever project they want, very few of them are really “gatekeepers” or power players. There is a relatively small number of people (okay, fine, men) in Hollywood

We watch Bounce like it’s fresh, and lots of Netflix.

There first show that came to mind is Agents of SHIELD with Maurissa Tancharoen as a show runner and is killing it in diversity with actors too. More shows need to follow their lead.

To be fair, white men are innately superior at everything.

I realize this is a serious problem and a topic for serious discussion, and yet I am having a lot of trouble wrapping my brain around the idea of a sitcom about the life of Nicki Minaj.

At least I’ll always have iZombie...
