While lots and lots of people of all races/ethnicities/genders work in Hollywood, and any one of them or group of them can theoretically choose to work on whatever project they want, very few of them are really “gatekeepers” or power players. There first show that came to mind is Agents of SHIELD with Maurissa Tancharoen as a show runner and is killing it in diversity with actors too. More shows need to follow their lead.
