So, you are saying that, in order to know that this was a racist thing against Native Americans, they had to know beforehand that it was a racist thing in order to Google something so specific... yes?

Meyerowitz Stories is great. Too bad a lot of people just won’t give it a chance because it stars Adam Sandler. A shame, really, because the dude can really shine when he isn’t just doing poop-anus-pee comedies (Punch Drunk Love, Reign Over Me, Spanglish and Meyerowitz all show great acting chops from him).
Except I actually had a lot of fun playing the Bouncer. It was my first Playstation 2 game, so there’s that to consider, but still, context goes both ways: it was, for me, a super fun game back when I played it.
Thanks, I didn’t know about that (still need to play Chronicles 2). It’s a cool detail, cool as hell. But it’s just fan service, and this doesn’t automatically mean that Xeno games outside of Nintendo’s ownership will suddenly become more relevant than characters on the Xenoblade series, as far as Smash is concerned.
My answer is, I don’t know. I haven’t played Chronicles 2 yet.
Namco has nothing to do with the Xenoblade games. Those are made by Monolith Soft, which are owned by Nintendo.
For me, the returning characters are just as exciting as the newcomers, because that means, well, that I get to play anyone I want on a single game. This is something that doesn’t happen often in fighting games, if at all. I couldn’t do an 8-player Ice Climbers match on Smash 4, I couldn’t do a Snake vs Bayonetta…
Thanks! I missed that. Even better, then.
“I refuse to give game devs points for bringing back all previously playable characters. That’s something that should be standard.”
It can be too much hassle when you add them on top of everything this game already offers, which is a really absurd amount of content. I honestly can’t think of any other fighting game that comes anywhere close to what this game is offering in terms of content. That’s why I don’t think calling it laziness is fair.
The event mode is also there, which is a different game mode.
Petey is Piranha Plant’s Final Smash.
There’s still 4 DLC characters to reveal, though. For all we know, Waluigi could be the last of them, as a final surprise for fans. It would be a totally Sakurai thing to do.
Honestly, I feel that as long as Sakurai has any sort of involvement with the Smash franchise, Gamecube controllers will be supported. He’s already stated that it’s his favorite controller to play Smash, and Nintendo has nothing to lose, because GC controller support means sales of new Gamecube controllers and…
I haven’t watched that show, and I can’t really judge the pics seen in Google (which admittedly look a bit tacky) without any context. Care to explain to me this particular example?
I honestly agree with you to the extent that yes, when you show something to the main public, it will be subjected to criticism, no matter the context of the release.
Anything I say is just speculation, I have no idea.
I really don’t believe this is intended to be the final look at all.
I’ve already said this in another article, but whatever:
