I’m guessing this extreme slowdown in hardware sales when compared to last year has everything to do with the fact that this year has been terrible for the Switch in terms of Nintendo releases. Last year they came out with a bang, but this year has been really, really lackluster.

I read somewhere else that the levels range in duration between 3-4 minutes (if you just rush through them knowing what to do beforehand) and 10-15 minutes if you hug every wall looking for secrets. You can’t save while playing a level, but your progress is saved between levels.

If I want good stories and interesting characters, I’ll read a book, watch a good TV series, or even a movie. But the first thing I care about when I play most games (not all) is the gameplay aspect of it.

If you mean the same line in the same way that the PS1, PS2, PS3 and PS4 are part of the “Playstation” line, then sure, I get what you mean.

A bit off-topic, but Michael Bay is actually capable of making an incredibly entertaining movie when he’s given some semblance of an actual plot and a modest budget. Watch Pain & Gain if you haven’t.
