There have never been 3 Asian female characters in roles such as this! Jia-ying leads the Inhumans as an Asian leading a predominantly white society. Skye is the defacto "lead character". May is IMHO the most established known actress and kicks major ass.
Agents of SHIELD has blown the doors off of the portrayal of

On second viewing, Sif and Coulson are fracking hilarious! Many times Coulson's quip is just a look like when Sif points her sword at Vin-Tak and exclaims, "How very Kree! He needs a weapon to make a point!"
And she is so nice to look at.
In fact, every woman on this show causes me to pause the playback just to gaze on

I thought the "noise and funk" lines were embarrassing as well as the "dayum!" They made the character such a stereotype, but at least his death was balls-deep heroic!
I am happy to see they've added Blair Underwood to play Agent May's wife as a neuro-psychologist to tend to Daisy/Skye and Raina.
Marvel will be

I must say having watched this again, Chloe Bennet's acting is first rate. Especially when she says nothing but properly conveighs so much emotion i.e., the scene where her dad obliterates Coulson. Very moving!
Flash, oh dear, the acting is so bad; the stories to date, so juvenile; I imagine only teens can stand it.
Ar

Also, the point of Tripp being there and dying a hero's death right in front of the new Daisy "Skye" Quake is that it is her distraught emotions watching him die that trigger her first quake.

I know all the focus is on Black characters but I do want to point out that this show has two Asian women in lead roles which is utterly amazing!!! I was shocked by Agent Triplet's death because he hadn't kissed Simmons yet. Normally it's after a Black male kisses a white female that America demands his comeuppance,

Finally had a chance to watch this. I thought the remarks by Stan Lee to Coulson were entirely directed not to Coulson but rather a clear admonition to the showrunners of Agents of Shield to get their act together. Stan Lee seemed to be speaking for the fans and stating our misgivings about the slow start.
I must say

This was absolutely hilarious and a joy to watch. A great break from the sturm und drang of the Joss death arc and brought that arc to its conclusion wonderfully.
