Yea that came off as confusing. I should clarify that I was liking the ending up until they ate him and then the scene where he is in heaven also sucked.

It was just so heavy handed about it. The book ends with Smith actually in heaven. All the scenes of heaven just ruined the book for me. If he just cut those out then the book would have been much better.
