It's not just universities. It's movie theatres, churches, elementary schools, shopping malls. No where is safe. I saw a movie in LA and as the lights dimmed, I actually thought to myself "I hope no one shoots up the joint." I have never had that thought in any of the other countries I've lived.

Every time this happens the rest of the world gasps, grieves and wonders helplessly why Americans just can't figure out that giving guns to everyone is not the answer.
