Beta starts in 2015, probably spring or Q2. Sign up at www.playoverwatch.com with your Battle.net ID. Blizzard typically does beta invitations lottery-style, so you may not get in on the first wave.

Bethesda's Battlecry (can we get better titles, please?) I'm not lumping into the same group with Battleborn and Overwatch because it's a third-person action game and emphasizes melee over range. But I can definitely see where the lines blur. I'm also not mentioning it as much because I don't think we'll be seeing

It's very hard NOT to compare this game to Gearbox's upcoming team-based FPS Battleborn as well. When you put the two side-by-side, however, they do stand out in their own unique ways. Battleborn more focuses on storytelling in a map and its events while still maintaining that MOBA feel while Overwatch is almost

They do have spaceship racing. So there's that.

Watashi-wa Groot-oh. (Apologies to those who can ACTUALLY speak Japanese.)

I'm right in the middle of it. Some horror games make me go "NOPE" and quit right when the tension ratchets up. Others I can handle and get used to because of their ebb and flow. Some just plain don't scare me.

Good to know. I don't know how susceptible the Joes are to headshots from other guns like the revolver or shotgun. Gonna have to experiment and see what they do.

You can't damage it, only scare it off. And usually it returns nearby in a more pissed off mood looking for you. It's sort of like punching a shark on the nose - You're exploiting its greatest weakness, but it still wants to gnaw your face off.

Bungie's already said they're working on fixes for Strikes and Heroic missions rewarding us more generously along with Legendary Engrams actually giving us Legendaries instead of Blues for days. I know they stated they wanted loot and the "celebration of getting loot" to feel more important. So I would assume that

This is pure bullshit, plain and simple. Most of their presentations are pre-rendered with some visual trickery added to make it look like it's a procedurally generated engine. Nothing of this caliber will be seen in this generation of gaming hardware, if ever. There's always going to be some limitation to visual

The most proper mecha "sim" outside of Mechwarrior was a little-known PS2 gem called "R.A.D: Robotic Alchemic Drive". It had an almost perfect feel to controlling something the size of a large building a'la Pacific Rim before it was even conceived of. I just hope a game of that scale gets realized a second time with

There's a difference between having a plan and an extremely vocal minority being displayed out in the open. A lot of these issues are likely happening to a small chunk of the larger populace than you think, it's just the people affected are making a much larger stink out of than it should be. The Internet always

If Final Fantasy XV's latest trailer is any indication, this game could well be worth the wait.

- DiRT 2 & DiRT 3: Easily two of the best rally and off-road racing games out there. If I'm up for a hardcore race, I always throw on one of these games and go for a few rounds.

It is obvious the game was made on a small budget, the random teleporting is evidence of that. However, most games come purely down to raw execution of mechanics these days. Graphics matter to the masses. However, you do bring up a small improvement that could add tons of potential depth to the game itself. Ideas

For some simple, but funny color commentary while watching gameplay of this, watch Markiplier's playthrough of this game. His reactions to the jump scares range from typical to priceless.

It's extremely likely Blizzard will be pumping out more large-scale expansions for Diablo 3 for at least another year two, much like Starcraft II ended up. I'd say wait for Blizzcon to reveal some news. Not to mention lore-wise, the plot of RoS left just enough meat on the bone for more stuff to happen.

Now it's just a golf cart with doors AND a nicer grill on the front.

I would personally love to see a new Metroid of some kind. FPS or side-scroller. The second screen on the Wii-U's pad can function as the inventory/map area. Incredibly simplistic idea, but I'd certainly buy a Wii-U just for a new Metroid. (Though Super Smash Bros, Hyrule Warriors, and the new Starfox don't hurt

I'm extremely skeptical about this one. The potential is massive, almost too massive. I'm afraid the game's too much for one small studio to handle and it either gets stuck in development hell for eons or is overly hyped and under-delivered. It almost feels like all of these videos I've seen of it reek of
