I agree. I still admire these games. They were far beyond anything at the time and still hold up. But playing them again, the gameplay is dreadful.

I adored Flashback. Though it didn’t quite stick the landing in the end. Still one of my favorites of the 16-bit era.

Personally, I liked the on traditional gameplay and puzzles. Although, its been years since I played it and the “nostalgia” factor is strong.
