Well, giving you and all the other actors a royalty would probably cut into developers bonuses pretty significantly. So you want money to come out of my pocket (The developer) so that you can have a safety net incase you “might” not be able to find steady work in the future? New’s flash, nobodies future is secure and

Exactly this. I really don’t want to hear the voice of Edward Elric popping up in every other JRPG or Anime out there.

Retired game developer here.

Don’t play them.

And even if they are willing to work those hours, and many are and do, because, well, crunch, they still will probably get laid off.

They should be paid proportional to the amount of work done on a game. For most that is a pittance so of course they don’t want a FAIR share because most voice acting is a joke for a game (relative to all the other work that went into it) and even the titles with a lot of voice acting still usually have far more work

Any work where multimillion companies have the possibility of exploit the workers need a union.

The problem is that there are thousands of naive young programmers fresh out of school willing to do the job for peanuts, and higher-ups know it. The second someone shows signs of being unwilling to work those inhuman hours, they’re out on their ass.

I don’t know about performance bonuses, but I get why maybe they’d want something akin to “sick” days or multi day break periods after doing some strenous voice work. Also yeah being just told “hey since youre the voice, now you need to mocap” is probably something that needs to be spelled out in advance.

I would call it a Platform Brawler.

I beleive the term is simply “Platform Fighter”

Not all anthropomorphic animal creatures are furries, you plebeian. Furries are humans dressed as animals in big fuck fur costumes.

Those designs are a few metal plates from being Megaman X Mavericks, and I love it.

just saw his picture on the ITV website and yep, looks exactly like a gigantic bellend

D. Dog is to good for us.

You seem to think, like a lot of people do, that objectification is some kind of blanket term for whenever a woman is depicted sexually in a work of fiction by a man. It is not. Objectification has some very specific things that need to be in place in order for it to qualify as such.

You’re in luck, it just got released this month!

You’re wrong about most though. Most feminists today are on the opposite side, actually arguing that pornography can be a form of female empowerment, or at the very least that women should have autonomy to choose what to do with their bodies. 3rd wave feminism has actually been very vocal about this subject.

2 out of 3 testing facilities found Nick to be clean. The one facility that says he failed has been questioned by the NSAC themselves as being potentially unreliable. Nick was punished because he chose to exercise his right to plead the fifth, not because of weed. This was simply a disgusting show of power.

I’ve taken steroids and I’ve smoked weed. One is a PED and one makes movies fun.
