They need time. I don’t think any of those games will break into it, because the companies that make them want players to eventually upgrade to the newest release of the franchise.

Games as a service. It works. It was what Valve wanted to do, and have (1-3 are theirs).
Nothing too surprising there.
This isn’t true.
What’s your second paragraph trying to say?
In general, yeah. Games wise... this has been a pretty great year.
Why’s it stupid?
In the flesh, they *look* like thin, creaky plastic. Decent size though.
We’ve had these in Hong Kong, too.
The only thing that surprises me here, is that it was still running.
Depends on the contract.
That’s why you play games.
Like I said, I don’t assume this is the end game. And that this is a niche product. But that’s all for the time being.
If someone is paying for GeForce Now, as it is today, they’re not someone who wants to buy a console.
No, I’m just optimistic on the future of it. Because I think it’s a path towards (quite far off) spreading high quality gaming to more regions, globally. Regions who typically are not supported by consoles manufacturers, or where PC hardware can be prohibitively expensive.
I’d assume that Street Fighter likely isn’t the type of game that payers for this service will likely want to play. If they did, perhaps only a story mode. But it’s a pretty core game in general, and you’d expect most of those to already have a PC or console to play it.
We’ll see, I guess. Price looks wrong. But the idea is right, just still too soon perhaps.
No, console players are a different group, too. Sure, some play that way. But there are a lot of console players who by plenty of games, niche games, and stuff.
No, I know that. And I do.
It has been tried, yeah. But that’s where it’s interesting in this case, because Nvidia has been one of those to try. So perhaps they’re seeing something others are not.
