Them being minor or not doesn’t really matter. They still exist. And it should be a practice to state a disclaimer that at least, in a broad enough sense “Issues that may have existed in the original release, may also be present”.
It’s not being sold as a port. It’s being sold as an “Enhanced” version: “Experience these three classics with greater hardware capabilities and processing power, bringing the stories and immersion to life with enhanced graphics and post-processing”.

It really isn’t anything to do with the engine at all. The engine is just a tool kit, that’s it. They can make these exact same maps in Unreal, Frostbite, Unity, CryEngine, anything.
Console, Xbox One (which is likely part of the problem itself).
The single player in Titanfall 2 is worth the buy in alone.
